Thanos became God ? Certainly not the God (One Above All) unless you are suggesting that the aforementioned is incapable of fixing the Universe without destroying & recreating it. Or that he is unaware of certain things going on (such as Thanos not knowing Warlock would be coming through the portal, or being shocked upon seeing Death).
Spectre not being able to handle the power ? It wasn't the power he couldn't 'handle'.

well the presence/yahweh IS god, the highest one in dc vertigo. but my point is that fans who wanna hype spectre actually beleive that god will sumday BLESS him with ALL his powers which are megaversal level and then he can affecttively BE the presence working on the logic that{like LT} HE gets his power FROM god and only god can limit his power and hence if god gives him his entire power he WILL become GOD himself. as far as i know thats just as silly as saying that LT wud potentially become TOAA, i have never seen anything even close to this happen and i very much doubt that god wud give spectar, a mere fallen angel redeaming himself, all of his power. he is just an agent of the presence's will. and what i know of his feats shows this. he loses to thanos with the heart simply cause ive never seen him show multiversal power in a complete way. he was beaten by parallex and myxptlk as well as the great evil beast.
i thought the heart made him one with the universe and he absorbed everything to fix a fundamental flaw by killing himself.still doesnt make him toaa power and the prescence is toaa equal powerwise and merged gives him prescence power level so spectrechairthanos unless someone has proof to the contary.

Thanos didn't know where Warlock was?
That's completely untrue.
Thanos instantly knew where Warlock was,
and WHAT Warlock was even doing there.
Thanos overlooked Death for the same reasons he allowed Warlock to survive,
because of his sub-conscious will.
Thanos wanted Warlock to "witness" his "grand gesture"
(healing/re-creating the entire Marvel Universe)
Thanos wanted Death to survive because of his love for her.
(pretty simple)

that the ONLY Two that survived,
out of the entire Marvel Universe (including the LT)
were Warlock and Mistress Death.
(Warlock, who knows Thanos better than Thanos knows himself)
