Darkseid handled stealing the Sources power just fine. Spectre and his host couldnt handle being one with the source.
Spectre has zero feats to back him up and couldnt grasp being god for more than a few moments it seems.
Thanos wins. Feats,writer statements all add up to him being supreme.

Hell, they needed all the help they could get, and since even Hank Pym and such were there, it was obvious that pretty much anybody who could fight was present . Why weren't the Ultimates there ? Why no other beings from outside the prime Marvel Multiverse ?
It's obvious that this story didn't involve anything beyond the Multiverse and any objective poster who's actually read the story would realize that.

Omniscience means knowing what is, has or will be happening at any time. It doesn't have limits, that have already proven, nor is it influenced by any factors such as 'I was so emotional after killing everybody' or 'I was so engrossed in my newfound power that I didn't notice'.

God/Toaa themselves created a story where neither themselves

Actually no, you can't have it both ways. Either Thanos didn't become the embodiement of God thus the reason he couldn't fix the Universe without destroying and recreating it, or the One Above All is also limited thus the limitation on Thanos.
You want to go with your line of reasoning ? Okay, I'll destroy your argument using it. Since you say 'God' limited himself for the purpose of the story (unable to fix the flaw in the Universe) than that means that even if Thanos truly did recive God's power, then it was a limited one's power, thus not the actual embodiement of God's power who should be able to do/know everything.
