Not really...I did like Morrison Seven soldiers and his work in All Star Superman. Just that here in Batman....I'm not connecting. Some writers connect with the characters right away. Like Dini with TEC or Geoff with GL.
I seriously feel like Morrison came into this whole arc and said to himself, "I want to do two things here: 1. I want to be controversial and 2. I really don't want to do a lot with the old characters, I want to introduce new people and rearrange the old ones until I like them."
Not hating on Morrison... okay, I hate him for this job he's done on Batman... but I'm not seriously saying the above paragraph out of hate for him. I'm just saying, I don't think he could have came in and delivered solid Batman stories with the same cast that has lasted for around 7 decades. He's tampered with Joker, he's all but ignored other villains just to make way for his "Black Glove" and that character's little gang. Which, by the way, am I the only one noticing that almost all of them have some sort of similarity to the Bat's Rogues Gallery? The Clowny guy, the guy with the split face... the squat little ugly guy... I just think that's really odd.
I guess, what I'm thinking is, if you're going to kill Batman, fine. Do it. Do it in a way and with a villain deserving of it. Don't let Joker do it - Bats would never let him have that satisfaction and let's be honest, Joker probably wouldn't let himself do it in the end. Maybe have Two-Face do it, or actually let Hush or Bane do it. Bruce Wayne is one of those characters who hasn't died but hasn't aged either in the past 20 years. So maybe it's about time for his death. But DANGIT, do it right and let it be a solid character. Man, I'd almost kill for it to be Riddler or Mad Hatter than this whole Black Glove guy because I want a classic character to matter and matter big. Not some new guy who Morrison had to create to kill Bats.
I hope that rant made sense. I kind of blacked out there for a while.

I agree...a established villain should be the one to kill him, and i think that person should kill him with the joker watching.

No one's going to kill Bruce Wayne. It's Bruce Wayne. He doesn't die. Didio isn't going to let that happen straight after the success of The Dark Knight.
Anyway, I called it first- Batman's a Skrull...
I agree, I don't believe that Bruce Wayne will die either. Do you think that Bruce will create a better batsuit or wear the same one before he put on the Zur en ARRG or however its spelled one?

The latest issue of Robin treated Jason miserably. He acted like an idiot during his confrontation with Tim. What the hell happened with his pre-OYL characterization, where he was all calculated and badass ? F*ck this.
Yeah, does the writer forget that he Jason was trained by the League of Assassins and all that? Come on... I was kind of unimpressed with that, too.
I wonder if Bruce is the one in the "Red Robin" costume... Now THAT would be interesting.
