Tyrant "depowered" vs. Odin

Very true but later on while battling Galactus he stated that he had the ability to do so, now Gladiator and Jack of Hearts may just have not impressed Tyrant enough for him to use that spectrum of his more exotic powers... let's face it Tyrant toyed with that entire posse.
I agree that he did toy with that entire posse. But the energy was referred to as bse energy. He can't absorb any old energy that comes his way.

What is it that you can even dispute?

Also Tyrant only absorbed energy mainly through his instruments didnt he.
No.

Everything

No. [/B]

There is a huge gap between the energy JOH and Odin release.

his skirmish with tyrant was just the culmination of his scheme to gain the orb, the fight was a litmus test of it's worth.

he used the other members of his "team" as a detraction, tyrant was on thanos' radar since he was gaining power relatively quickly and thanos wanted in on it.

he didn't "run".

Do you remember the quote... where Thanos admit that had he stayed longer he would've died? Did you ever hear even something close to that against Odin who he fought for much longer? Thanos against Tyrant also had what some call a powerup in the orb and had prepped to confront Tyrant. He didn't against Odin and was never afraid or thought he was in danger of being killed, against tyrant he clearly was.

DP Tyrant is really underrated on this board as I noticed in my vote to move him off the Trans list in the tier section. He beats a fellow Trans level person in Thanos (some say Thanos is above Trans and had a powerup) yet he's on the same level. He was getting the better of and countering Galactus and had him on the ropes and near defeat and had to be saved. We call Galactus abstract correct.. yet DP Tyrant is still on the Trans list? For God sakes it's clear he learned from his first battle against Galactus which need I remind people last thousands of years and destroyed Galaxies in the process. He clearly even though depowered worked on his skills and abilities for another encounter with Big G. Look at Big G's own words.... nothing will be left if we fight.. backing down the first time they meet... surfer saying he must go before they BOTH destroy eachother. Shoot Galactus feed and prepped for the battle and with all his words clearly saw Tyrant as a threat and not somebody to play around with. Near his equal. Maybe not his equal but close by his and other people words. How he gets so underrated is beyond me.

Very good points.

Can you define BSE? Is this not the type of energy that Odin employs when he blasts the crap out of his enemies? Without strength amping DP Tyrant also starts out far higher than Odin, not that this is a point against Odin or anything.

Please define BSE because I don't have that comic on hand.

Biospheric energy

Okay so by the word "biospheric" do you think that Tyrant was saying living energy? I wish I had the book to refer to because I thought Tyrant stated that all living beings possess this form of energy.

Can I get a correction if I am incorrect.

erm... iirc after tyrant and thanos lock horns and release a ton of energy, tyrant says: "you yet live.....i will correct that." thanos than says something on the lines of "i'm sure you would given the chance". he then tells tyrant he got what he came for and leaves.

the orb really didn't amp thanos, he even punched tyrant with his empty fist and he went down, and the time he played mercy with him the orb was nowhere to be seen. all he did (iv'e said this before) was shoot and pistol whip tyrant with it, it wasn't making him more powerful.

but about tyrant vs odin, i put my money on odin. not because of their performance against thanos (cause if you want to use that, odin was far better against him), but the fact that he is the source of sustenance for the world of asgard itself. the guy can recreate it if it's destroyed and his battles have shocked the multiverse, tyrant vs galactus may have been similar but that was before he was reduced.

depowered tyrant needed the heralds to even be as powerful as he was in cosmic powers, a fight with odin should drain tyrant the longer it goes on, then it' devine punishment time.

this isn't beta ray here, this is bloody odin.

That would be simply "life-force" and not biospheric energy.

You dispute that Galactus is more powerful than Odin?

What manner of sorcery hath befallen thee? E'en in all my days would I ne'er suspect such brazen words from one such as thee.

I said very clearly some claim the orb amped him not that I do or don't. However, you do realize that Thanos went looking for a fight with Tyrant and thus was prepped for and knew that fight was coming. Against Odin that wasn't the case in the least. Furthermore, you totally skipped the point I made about Thanos's words... Did he not stay with Odin and not once think about leaving or being close to dying? Yet in a much shorter fight Thanos looks worse and clearly feels Tyrant is his superior and would've killed him. You can't ignore the Titans own words because you choose not to like them. He was clearly fearful of Tyrant and staying and not of Odin.. correct?

So, your saying Odin has destroyed universes as collateral damage in a fight lasting thousands of years... Show me this collateral damage happening and destroying universes in the process. I don't wank shaking I want universes being destroyed as collateral damage since you claim Odin is on another level it seems in terms of power.

So, your saying... Odin... could've taken a well-fed prepped Galactus with ease the way Dp Tyrant did? Galactus own words and actions show he considered Tyrant to be a threat and acted accordingly. He didn't view him as some scub but clearly as a real threat. He even backed down from fighting him when he first took morg and tyrant was ready to fight. How do you explain ss saying.. I must go there before they BOTH destroy eachother? It seems SS along with Galactus also viewed even DP as a real thread correct?

Odin wins.

biosphereic energy is the energy of a living world. it's the same thing galactus feeds on.

i don't do the post dissection shit cause it's ghey, but all i can say was that thanos was smiling the entire time this supposed "ownage" happened at the end of the tyrant fight.

and basically, odin is not depowered, tyrant is, and his showing against thanos was not so good to say he can beat odin if the latter actually wanted tyrant's ass in a sling.

Plus, it was very modest.

Bumped the wrong one 😛

Merging would be good.

My thoughts are the same since I first made this thread. Tyrant still wins.

Odin pimps him

I think Tyrant is the ideal opponent for Galactus due to his energy siphoning powers and technopthy. But Odin imo is overall stronger and pretty much tier leader of Skyfathers.
