Canon isn't always consistent which is why we have PIS. Canonically speaking Odin has much better showings than Thanos and should mop the floor with him. Unless we are just gonna take all bouts for face value and ignore what a Character can do?

A Well Fed Galactus has maxed himself out breaking Thanos shield in certain showings. His jobbing prowess is clearly independent of him being fed or not.

Thanos was upgraded and this comic showed us he can take him on. We dont need to look at other showings when we have this matchup in a comic. Just because you dont like the outcome that doesnt mean you can disregard it.

Thats how impressive Thanos shield was.

Thanos charged through his blasts. Odin saluted him as a great opponent. he rocked the Surfer not Thanos.

Thanos was certainly on the losing edge of that battle, as he hadn't even budged Odin during their fight. Even the enchants did better than Thanos :/

I do like it because I'm a Thanos fan, but it's inconsistent. Are you saying PIS is irrelevant?

He was losing. Did you miss when they went flying all over the place. Did you miss Odin pull out gungir? Does he pull out gungir when he doesnt need it?

Odin said that he has not fought such a foe like this for a very long time as well. Odin respects Thanos.

Thanos durability was certainly admirable. Anyone who can stand up and keep going from Odin has to be badass

i think this would be a pretty good battle, actually. feats say odin, but it's hardly fair to compare feats. i would tend to say odin would get the better of the battle, but i think it would be very close and a MUCH tougher battle than thanos gave odin.
