one of the greatest issues ever, it actaully the issue that got me hooked on wolverine. to bad most of the scans no longer work.

I always think of this issue when people try and pretend DS fighting super hero teams = wolverine being no match for him. Just because we don't like to shove every high end showing in peoples faces does not mean wolverine does not have those types of feats. He has them in spades. This feat is more impressive then anything ive seen anyone at low meta ever doing.

Yeah... I was actually in the process of remaking the Wolverine Respect thread with TONS of feats I had previously left out.... because I'm lazy...
And stuff that I wasn't sure was feat worthy... but apparently needs to be stuffed into the thread.. (Like Wolverine easily dispatching vamps left and right...) and theeeeeennnnnn my computer fritzed out when my house had a power surge.... so...... awesome...

Meh, I should be getting a new laptop here in the next month or 2 and then i promise you guys... I'm going to make this bigger better and I'm going to upload those pics to my photobucket account and include thumbs for a number of the multi-page stuff.

Probably have it up and runing by next summer lol.. sad but true, these things take so much time.

According the Thor respect thread, blocking lasers = light speed reflexes. dur

the pain caused by the transformation would have been sufficient to release his claws or rage into Blade killing him since blade was in a very bad position...

if some one has you at knife point to the throat you really wanna risk giving him a spasm and enraging him with pain?

what the hell you think is gonna happen to you?

I posted nothing negative here, I posted a writer remarking that Wolverine is nigh-unbeatable in a head-to-head confrontation if the other fighter isn't prepared but of course that's over-looked...yea it's not me who was out of place.

that's not what happened in x-men. there was no rage, his body went into complete shock and weakened him enough for them to carry him to a cage without him fighting back. stop being contentious.

So....how well did Logan and his vampire army do against the X-Men?

Turns out Cyclops secretly had Dr Nemesis turn off Wolverine's healing factor before he went after Jubilee. When Logan engaged Utopia, Cyclops turned it back on, he devamped in seconds, and with Wolverine on their side the X-Men smashed the vampire army.

How did he not die from adamantium poisoning?

it takes like a week for that to happen just for the effects..facepalm2

adamantium poisoning isnt a quick death but a drawn out painful one... do we really need to start posting depowered wolverine and the adamantium resistance?

He has gone months with Adamantium poisoning. It has an accumulative effect, not an instant reaction.

wolverine #149
Wolverine had his powers turned off by High Evolutionary satellite for a couple of weeks if not a month or so.. He fought alongside Nova without his powers while suffering physical deterioration of sore muscles slow reaction time and just feeling like crap overall....

in the same story arch in one of the X-men comics

the world was happy that the powers had bn turned off even some of the X-men like rogue was happy..

Wolverine hid it from the X-men for a long while before they discovered he was dying from adamantium poisoning when it became noticeable...

another time back in the 80's when the x-men Infiltrated magneto's island everyone had their powers turned off, Colossus turned human in the ocean, Cyclops was walking around without his visor and Wolverine was struggling with his senses being dulled and yet he wasnt effected by the adamantium poisoning and he had bn on the island for a couple of hours..

During the beginning of civil war
Then you got the time he was taken down by sentry and held in shield custody with a nullified he was being effected by the adamantium again he had his powers turned off for at least an hour by the time he was taken to see Maria hill and he jumped out the helcarrier..

Wolverine #173
another time Wolverine had his powers turned off by an energy blast from the weapon X compound controlled by Sabretooth.. Logan felt woozy feeling the immediate effect of having his powers turned off.

he then went a couple of days with his powers turned off without immediately suffering from the adamantium effect...

Wolverine #164
only time he was given anything for his adamantium poisoning was during the time he was incarcerated in "the Cage" and it was just routine procedure when wolverine was admitted and his sentence exceedingly above a few days or months it was life incarceration..

So he had no hf at all?

Do you really need to antagonize anyone? We all know that Wolverine is an incredibly durable and adept fighter even without his healing factor and could dispatch most opponents without going down himself (Blade and normal vampires included) but that doesn't mean you need to sink down to their level by being uncivil about it.

And I heard that this thread is going to be remade again soon, is this true? I love reading Wolverine stuff and having access to a more up to date and organized respect thread would be very appreciated.

I said it, yes it's true... sadly it won't be completely til the summer or end of spring most likely.

Just keep checking back in for updates though. 🙂

For the love of god, don't use imageshack this time. There is a reason a good chuck of the links are down, and its because imagesahack blows.

edit..

posted wrong forum..

pls hurry Jinzin... i beg you.. ppl are disrespecting logan back to barely peak human and think it his standard fall back norm.

..wth do Blade fans have to do with that.

good showing for Wolverine, although he did state he was faster and stronger than normal. Can't wait to see the repercussions of Cyclops' decision.

you know the entire vial incident now would have been irrelevent. It was incapable of over powering his healing factor as shown when he easily over came it this issue instantly.

Finallly read it and yea Logan's hf did heal him but I don't think Guggeneheim would have written it that way as that was his intent.

Anyways where in the hell were Gambit, X-23, and all of the other mutants during the invasion?
