I don't really think that's particularly tactful.

Mimic at the time had the powers of Colossus, Angel, Beast, Cyclops and I believe Wolverine.

@Dum: I wasn't personally arguing that Wolverine couldn't/wouldn't beat Colossus in a fight (I mean, Deadpool slipped him up enough to get in close to Cyclops for a point blank head shot and that was only him play acting to make the X-men look good on live television) just that him being depicted with regular human blood goes against most of Colossus' depictions of being injured.

Also, the cases that were brought up about his arms being broken weren't cases of fractures like in a human arm but as in his arms were literally broken, like an object.

the same book that THIS is from! WHAHA!
...... douche.

y'know it's kind of ironic that you brought that up because in that fight Wolverine "skrangs" off of his angel wings when the fight starts off only to be ripping them to shredds with a another blow later.....

But yeah.... Collosus is special. 🙄

Hey jinzin you have scans of Logan tooling Blade in X-Men #6?

lol did he? No I haven't even seen that book out yet. Did it come out yesterday?

Yea, it came out yesterday.

what happened?

Not sure but tracks said he was shortchanged or something.

Turns out it wasn't much of a fight...but it could have been.

Blade wants to stake Jubilee. Wolverine says take another step and see what happens. Blade leaves instead.

Great stuff in Astonishing Spider-man / Wolverine this week. No fights or impressive feats but some excellent plot points including fallow up to the ending of Wolverine Origin, which is nice especially since Kubert is on art.

Not sure what the deal is with #5 not coming out till the end of March though... 🙁

Astonishing X-Men: Xenogenesis #4

Wolverine and the X-Men throw down with a team of Fury.

Can anyone tell me where that scan of Rogue shooting out the bone claws and saying Logan is in constant pain come from... PLEASE 🙁

"As stated above Logan is in a constant state of pain due to his claws. When Rogue absorbed his physical attributes in her claws she states it's the worst pain she's ever felt in her life:"

Astonishing X-Men: Xenogenesis #4

Wolverine and the X-Men throw down with a team of Fury Part 2. A weakened Wolverine rips out the Fury's spine.

From Heroic Age: Super Heroes:

@ srank

The...............................F*CK???????? 😐

Those things are like... depowered clones or something right?

..... right? 😕

Because..... well...... DAMN!

Any chance for some info about those Fury guys? Didn't know anything about them till I read Xenogenesis.

The Fury were created by Mad Jim Jaspers to destroy all super humans, they are nearly if not completely indestructible, able to adapt to and give themselves any ability to the point that could stalemated Mad Jim Jasper and survived the destruction of a Universe.

Jinzin, they are the Fury from alternate dimension, possibly some of the original 238 Fury, not the weakened 616 version.

Thanks. X-Men are pretty screwed then I guess.

BWAHAHAHAHAHA Adamantium Claws> Universe busting...

But yeah... Count Nefaria was weakened. 🙄

In celebration that most of the bad stuff from The Best There Is #1 was apparently the result of outside powers influencing Wolverine and not just horrible character work, here are some scans from the second issue.

Wolverine: The Best There Is #2 - Wolverine vs Harry Sykes and Madcap.

Wolverine throws down with two members of Contagion's "Unkillables." Logan makes short work of Sykes, amputating all of his limbs in the brink of the eye before he dispatches Madcap with similar ease. He severs both their heads for good measure and goes about his business.
