That inhibitor collar shouldn't have prevented Logan from using his claws. There are dozens of examples of him not needing an active x-gene in order to pop them.

Am I the only one who noticed that Vic Slaughter is the only one out of the group who lacks any claim to being "Unkillable"?
I do agree that it was asinine that Logan didn't subdue Sykes without his claws. I mean, he might have a powerful healing factor but he's just a slightly overweight washed up two-bit hood.

I swear these writers know next to nothing about Wolverine half the time. I mean, he can take down X-23 twice in a row without using his claws...plus various hand ninjas using straight H2H...yet a bald, fat, wife-beater dude who resembles your average redneck not only causes Logan to go all "Samurai" but somehow manages to knock him over. That's just...retarded. Is it really too much to ask for compitent writers on Wolverine comics?
