After the resent wolverine comic, I have to wonder how exactly does wolverine get away will killing so many innocent people? Punisher kills people too but he can't walk in the middle of the street without fear of the cops picking him up. In plenty of comics logan is drinking at a bar like its not a big deal.

I've thought that myself. Wolverine isn't far off from Punisher but Wolverine is grounded ie he has 'family' and knows when to stop.

Well, Wolverine wears a mask so he can fly under the radar easier in his civies then Frank. Also Wolverine's murders are generally lower profile then Frank's and at least in EotS SHIELD was actively trying covering up his murder sprees trying to keep him out of the press, maybe he is licensed to kill and the SHIELD just cleans up his messes?

That was Mystique - as Wolverine - killing someone and pretending that she - as Wolverine - believed the person she killed was herself so that when Wolverine showed up, the locals would be after revenge which would slow him down.

With all due respect, you need to bone up on your Wolverine again.
This guy has had the the W O R S T luck/life out of most Marvel characters. Most of the people that he loves, has loved or in general are friends with end up getting killed, maimed, tortured or end up hating him. Not only that but half the time he is being manipulated or mind controlled into sometimes DOING those things.
Added with pretty much DYING on a daily basis...that shit ****S WITH YOUR MIND. His own SON orchestrated sending his soul to hell and have his body killing someone he knew and almost killing the X-men.
Im surprised James Howlett doesn't strangle a ***** more often.

so if someone goes up to you, ruins your life, REPEATEDLY tries to kill you and just recently sent your soul to hell, killing a friend of yours and almost killed the xmen you are going to save face...
besides, who the hell would trust mystique. yes he was at peace with his past but that sure as hell doesnt mean his past is at peace with him. what the hell could he have done when she and daken pulled that kind of crap.
