No I agreed that Superman is smart enough to realize that just brawling with Hulk would be stupid when he has a wide range of abilities to utilize and adapt to beat Hulk.

Yes I know that.......but what im trying to say is what do you define as 'not trying your best'? If you mean they werent trying to kill him that doesnt count because most heroes wont kill but we usually assume they are still trying their best.

If you mean they werent trying to kill him but were holding back for some raeson, like they werent using as much force as they usually do what proof do you have for this?
