I've already taken my film classes. 😎

Green Lantern is cut together like it was made by a 9th grader using Final Cut Pro for the first time. It's not really subjective, the movie is mess, one of the worst monstrosities to ever grace the silver screen. The only excuses for liking Green Lantern, is it is the only movie you've ever seen.

I disagree and I thought the movie flowed well. I thought the editing was actually one of the better qualities of the film.

My complaints were the lack of imagination from both the director/writer and the characters. I think that Hammond's character was the only "real" character and I enjoyed Peter Sarsgaard's performance so much that I want to see him in more movies as a crazy eccentric guy.

I still gave it a 6-7. I don't remember which. I'll have to watch the film again.

I even said the Hulk wasn't a great movie. It was alright, but not up there with IM, Thor, Cap, TDK, etc....

I actually would put Incredible Hulk up there with Thor.. Just because it wasn't a financial success(probably mainly due to Ang Lee's movie) doesn't mean it wasn't a great movie.

Its Cap I would say was just alright but does not touch the likes of Thor and Iron Man.

You're the one claiming a movie with a 56/100 metascore and 64% on Rotten Tomatoes is God's gift to comic movies.

It actually scored 7.7 on IMDB above Thor, and just short of Iron Man. IMDB is normal movie fans rating films. A lot of people loved Watchmen.

He's called me that as well for pointing out most of the greatest Superhero movies of all time were DC ones and not Marvel. Basically anyone who thinks a DC movie is better than a Marvel one is a DC fanboy to him.

The way he dishes out the insults I think makes it pretty obvious who the Marvel fanboy is. Also says a lot about his maturity level.

Another person rating Hulk above Cap. You people have no sense of what a good movie is.

Lol, IMDB? I've never had anyone reference that site for ratings. And Metascores are more important because they average out a ton of different scores. Also, Rotten Tomatoes is kinda the modern standard now; everyone use that. And Watchmen falls flat on it's face in the former.

If what you said is true, and "A LOT OF PEOPLE LOVED WATCHMEN", then why did it only gross 107 million at the BO? Cap has already beaten that in 2 weeks...

Yes, I have, because such a statement is so full of hubris and bias that it's laughable. The best comic movies out are the original Superman (because of nostalgia and Reeve's iconic portrayal of Supes), the 89' Batman (again, more because of Nostalgia at this point, it hasn't aged exceptionally well), BB and TDK, Spidey 1&2, X-2 and First Class, and Iron Man. Now, if I were to stop right there, Marvel still beats DC out 5 to 4, and DC is using just 2 characters to make that up! I'd put Thor and Cap up there as well, but I won't for arguments' sake. So your claim is pretty silly considering.

Basically anyone who thinks a DC movie is better than a Marvel one is a DC fanboy to him.
No, not at all. People who think BAD movies are better are fanboys. Someone saying Watchmen is "upper echelon" is a fanboy. Someone saying Batman and Robin is "great" is a fanboy. I have no problem with people proclaiming Batman Begins and The Dark Knight are great movies; newsflash, they are. Logical statements will not get you slapped with a fanboy label. It's the illogical ones that do.

The way he dishes out the insults I think makes it pretty obvious who the Marvel fanboy is. Also says a lot about his maturity level.
I am huge Marvel fan yes, but the difference is that:

A) I will not sit there and defend crappy Marvel movies to the death with others like some of you defend GL and SR...

B) I like DC, at least enough to enjoy honest, well done movies. If they had made a great GL movie, I'd be happy for them. What Nolan did for Batman is amazing, and great. If only all DC properties were treated with as much care.

My problem is that DC has only had 1 hero they can depend on, whereas Marvel has had hits with many. So it doesn't take a "Fanboy" to see that. I'm all for DC introducing more characters, I just want them to do it well. Not Fantastic Four level of quality.

😐

IMDB has over 59,000 votes for Thor. RT has merely 246 and MC has 437. Clearly IMDB has a better scope of the populace... But really it doesn't matter. One should judge movies on their own and not relly on other's opinions. If DP thinks Watchmen is one of the better comic movies who the hell cares? It's his opinion and just as valid as yours.

RT has 246 critic reviews cited, but it also has 720 forum pages of rated user reviews, each with close to 20 review per page. Just saying.

Yeah. 120032 User reviews. However, those are not factored into the "tomatometer" but are in the "like it" one instead.

Like I care what those sites say. I wasn't directing that part at you. There are many in here who are saying they think The Incredible Hulk is a great film. Blasphemy. It's nowhere near Iron Man and Liv Tyler is unbelievably bad in the film.

You act as if I'm the only one on this site who thinks Watchmen is a great movie.

It is true, opinions will not be swayed by me. If people WANT to like Batman and Robin, Watchmen, Green Lantern, Fantastic Four, whatever...they are entitled to that.

However, they lose the right to hold on to that exclusively when they state that *insert movie______ is better than *insert movie_____. At that point they are stating something is fact. And THAT, I will debate.

Please don't lump Watchmen in w/those horrible movies. I enjoyed Watchmen &I'm the farthest thing from a DC fanboy.

There is a difference between liking a movie and saying that "None of these Marvel movies can touch it..." That is what makes someone sound like a fanboy. I wouldn't say there is a single Marvel movie that TDK can't touch. If I were a fanboy, I would. I'll lay off Watchmen I suppose. It wasn't a bad movie, but it certainly wasn't as good as a few here are claiming. Like I said, some comics are just hard to translate into live action well.

I enjoyed Watchmen immensely as well. It was a hard sell, so I knew it wasn't going to make a lot at the box office. IMO, it's at the top of the comic book movie genre.

How am I supposed to take you seriously? I've not yet seen Green Lantern, but to say Watchmen is as bad(or near) as Batman & Robin?

If you didn't like Watchmen, fine. I personally think TDK and it are in a group by themselves. Then you get into the Blade II, Iron Man, and First Class stuff.

That doesn't make me a fanboy. You don't see me trying to shove Superman Returns or Jonah Hex up there.

I'm a big fan of Captain America. He's probably my second favorite Marvel character. I'm not much of a Thor fan to begin with. But even I'll admit Thor was a better movie.

Again you misinterpret what I said. I did not single you out to saying you like those movies. I was just using a group of random movies as an example. Of course Watchmen isn't as bad as Batman and Robin. Nothing is.. well, save Catwoman.

The first Captain America and Captain Marvel movie is just as bad.

Not sure if they count. Undoubtedly they are horrid movies (I have not forced myself to watch them), but they weren't exactly big budget movies. Seeing as their budget was horridly low, their flop is not as painful as something like GL or SR. Now, in terms of quality? Yah, the probably are as bad, but as I said, I don't watch movies that I KNOW are terrible.

YouTube video 😂 Ya'll need to see most of this guy's work YouTube video YouTube videoYouTube video YouTube video

Disregard the one I posted 2x

His videos are awesome.

That Cap sure killed a lot of Nazis but was it enough to make him truly represent America? I'm not so sure.

@ I-drop

Lol this dude does some amazing stuff. I've been watching his vids for a while. Rorschach and deadpool is one of the most awesome things to happen ever 💃
