In fact someone looked through the beta reference files and found references to such units as an Imperial Guard mortar team.
But those files seem to contain just about every concept they'd ever gone through regardless of whether it is in-game or not, includiing a Land Raider and traitor/Chaos units, so that's possibly not a good lead.

Dreadnoughts are god though.
i'd rather have a couple of hellfire dreadnoughts than a predator... shame they aren't in the game (unless i missed their announcement).

for me, it just gets in the way. also, it's too inflexible. its either good against infantry or good against buildings. you can try to balance it out with upgrades, but then you lose its effectiveness against both, imo.
land raider and hellfire dreadnoughts are better imo...
Ive got 14 gig on my C drive and 74 on my E drive.
Thing is ime not sure where DoW2 was installed, It was simply installed through steam and as you said, never gave me a choice.
Thing is....the game is brilliant BUT I am having major issues, the game itself runs great, I have my settings mostly on high, a few on medium such as Shadows and Rain quality and its smooth, the game plays without any loss of framerate or choppiness.
Now, randomly it completly freezes the computer, the whole machine is frozen and my only choice is to reboot by pressing the button on the unit...its happned at the beginning of a Skirmish game against A.I Tyranids with me as Space marines, take into account beforehand I played about 4 levels of the campaign.
Then when I started the game up again, everything was working fine, I completed a skirmish battle against the Orks as Space marines, I had the battle with the Tyranids again on the same map and I won that as well so i thot everything was fine so i started the campaign again on a level where you have to kill an Eldar Warp spider Exarch, i reached the Exarch, got it near death and the machine crashed again.
So...I start up the machine, ime not going to give up so easily because the game is excellent and ime a person who is not happy or content doing something else when the thing I really want to do is broken or does not work. So I play through another Skirmish, me and a normal A.I Eldar VS 2 space marines of the same A.i difficulty. We beat them down, get the "mission victory" screen and I click "continue" to see my score and it does the same thing again. Everything frozen, cannot even close the program.
So either theres something going on with the game itself , its installed ona drive where theres not enough space (even the lowest has 14gig, surely thats enough anyway) or its something ive not thought of. I use a Nvidia Geforce 8800 but I cannot see how my graphics should be the problem otherwise I would surely get some framerate issues.
