But eh. We're a pairing that never happened, but would likely be fun. Though I don't really see myself as needing a wing to be under anymore, but partners can be cool anyway. With Scoob, that was definitely the case, as I was still learning the ropes.
Personally, I'm still sore that the 4-way team of doom never came to fruition in the one Trick A-bombed (it was Scoob, DC, Khell, and myself). That would've been epic. I don't remember another tourney where people were expressing genuine fear before drafts. And hell, we were drafting Minion that time too for me to play with. But alas!

If I remember correctly, we were going to draft Doom 2099, Minion, Animal Man, and Winter. It was a vaguely low herald level, though we didn't use that term at the time. I think Apocalypse was being used as the proverbial cut-off. I hadn't made the Death's Head respect stuff at that point, so it also would've been easier to play him up to a low herald-ish level.

That was the tourney where I came up with the insta-tech via matter manipulation/techno-organic shapeshifters plan but never got the opportunity to use it in battle thanks to Trickster. I was teamed up with B-Dub (of all people), Newjak, and ExodusCloak. I remember having to debate with them on MSN that it was pretty much a foolproof plan and would guarantee us victory, but I got a lot of resistance on the characters we'd draft (Newjak insisted on drafting Super Skrull because of his, at that time, high end appearances in Annihilation, and ExodusCloak wanted to draft Exodus). B-Dub was down with the plan from the jump though. He knew I'd struck gold. We were going to doomsday device our way through to victory.
Then the wheels came off.

I'm not keeping any magical power. I absorbed their minds and souls. That's what I "keep." It just happens that the Marvel's souls allow me to call down their power in each match.
So I can't speak for ill, but I'd imagine the answer would be "no" to your example question. Otherwise, all of our prep-amps and such would carry over as well.

Adam Warlock part was nice... actually. From the same tourney I liked PR\Rewmac team...for some reason, since the separate characters from the team aren't too high on my opinion list.
