digi, scoob and cdb liked my proposal. even if smurph doesn't, it would still be a majority. not sure why smurph wouldn't (he is a sensible little guy, after all . . . 😄 ) but it seems the majority is the deciding factor, no?

Yeah, the process is essentially democratic until I have to put my Decider hat on.

Is everyone aware of the particulars of your proposal (namely Smurph/B-Dub since the others agreed with it)?

if they're not it's pretty simple:

the finals would last 10 days. there would be a 2 post/day (per team) limit. that would give a possible 20 posts if all were used. if you DON'T post on a given day, or only use 1 post, that's fine, but you in effect LOSE those 2 posts. that way one team can't save 6 or 8 posts for the final day and blitz another team just under the wire. the most they can post is twice, which shouldn't be that big a deal.

Delph, can we consider making it 7 days, so that it's 14 max? Doubling the possible post total isn't entirely appealing to me.

I'm good with everything else though.

7 days is fine with me. not much chance anyone would be using both posts every day anyway, though. hell MOST days would likely only be single posts. i thought 10 days might be better given the lack of time people may have around the holidays is all.

Eh, leo makes a good point (for a change 😛 ). 7 days would likely equal about 5 posts a piece. I'm happy with 10 days, and highly doubt I'll exceed 10 myself.

Kang's choice for this match is the best choice ever. Did they get him cheaper than a low herald?

yep. 😄 high meta is where he was placed, high meta is what we got him for.

Eh. People said the same of Sinister. Shift. Etc. Kang's impressive, but one has to remember that time powers are banned, which still makes him powerful, but brings him back down to manageable levels.

Also, glad we have a reply. I'll respond...tonight? I hope. X-Mas insanity today, and company is sleeping in our cpu room, so we'll see. It may depend on their bedtime. I'd like to be done ASAP though, so I'll see what I can do.

Yep, Kang is nerfed with no time powers, he is still great. I won't go further in why I think he is a good choice simply because there is a tournament going on and I rather see how they use the choice they made.

Feel free. I hope you enjoy the match (it's almost done). Scoob and leo are using their Techno mega-mesh much more than their other two combatants, but Kang's making a decent showing.
