Funny, that's the time when Scoob made his name too.😕
What can I say, I'm a product of the times.

....and when I made it to the semis in a HH tourney with Apollo on my team.😖hifty:
And what exactly was it that happened to your little team in that tourney?

Ironic, no? It's literally the one anime I've ever seriously watched.

I got whupped, as I should have actually. It's the only tourney I've ever been in that I don't think I should have won. I mean, come on. Apollo?! General Zod?! Loki?! I'm shocked I won anything at all. Ok, so Loki's not bad. I could do some good work with him. But still.
As I recall, it was Khell that knocked me out. By the time I won the FFA and came back, my loss to you was inevitable, because in those days any loss meant permanent loss in the judges and participants' eyes.

How come? Tier placement nightmare, or...?I honestly couldn't believe I found them (the entire manga series, plus FotBS sequel) in a downloadable and readable format.
Rather to say, underuse of potential. I did only 50% of what can be done, and ABSOLUTELY FAILED the Riddick battlefield (though I wonder what would have happened if me AND Smurph both stated killing Lord-Commander in the beginning of the match in our strats).

Silent hill was just a terrible arena. We spent every match killing people by the tons and then that thing got thrown on us...
^^
My team was murdering our own duplicates by the thousands. We never really had a chance once the match got started, and then the tourney ended so we never got to fight a semis match on equal footing. I'm torn with "inventive" battlefields. They can be awesome, but people (not just my team) have gotten screwed by them more than once, and I was the culprit once during one of the tourneys I hosted.

Or when they are so awesome that someone ( 🙄 ) has to close the match, make new rules to ban the inventiveness, and then make the match again instead of just letting the battle go as is.
On that note, I'm pretty sure Smurph and I are down to play again. I have a question though:
is the 150 point cap a bonus to the team we already have, or does the team we already have need to fit the 150 point cap?

The Season One salary cap was 125, so it's not so much a bonus as it is that if you chose to keep your roster from last season intact, you'd now have an additional 25 pts to work with on top of your current roster. If you chose to drop characters for more cap space you would have more points for selections in the draft, or you can wait and make moves through free agency afterwards. Whichever you decide.
Originally posted by Charlotte DeBelIt was pretty funny, how it all worked out. I started with one of the weakest teams, and then just maximized potential, where as most other people started with strong teams and underused.

Worked pretty sweetly. If only the tourney had continued...
