He's got comic knowledge and even some debating chops. It wouldn't be impossible, and that's not my problem with him judging. My issue has always been with his attitude toward tournaments. The tourney-wrecking mutiny is the most well-known, but he's on record as saying he doesn't take them seriously at all, as either participant or judge, and actually went out of his way to try to skirt the rules in Evangel's tourney, then b*tched, insulted, and dropped out when the tactic was banned, and said it was only because we hadn't thought of something as powerful that we were upset (when we actually had just read the rules). These aren't the only incidents, just the most prevalent. So like I said, it's not personal. I'm just looking out for the integrity of the tourney, and told Trick point blank that I'd do this. Glad to see there's some support.
Let's get a few things straight. I refuse to take the fall for Delph's last tourney. That was not my fault. I was the only judge left at the end. Val&Jase didn't even vote in the later rounds and Batdude switched to your team I believe. Not once have I ever corrupted or abused my position as judge. Or is this a grudge because I slammed you for not posting scans in that 2nd round match? 🙄
Epic ****ing lulz at using Evangel's tourney as a black mark against me. That monstrosity was doomed from the beginning, and the changes mid-match coupled with illogical cap spending and ability management did not help. And btw, I wasn't the only one trying to crash her tourney or exploit the hilariously open and vague rules.
Integrity of the tournament? It was fine until you suddenly decided to jump off the sidelines and start rabble-rousing. One could question YOUR motivations in entering. 😉
And there's not a thing wrong with my attitude. I've always had problems with authority figures, especially teachers. 😄 If you can't enjoy the debate or the thrill of the match, if there's no joy and fire in your eyes as you type the words and wield your imagination against that of your opponents, then why compete? If you don't have the will to fight, then do not enter the ring.
You and I have been at odds for awhile, but this is low even for you. ❌ My integrity as a judge is not in question, only my nature of competing.

That sounds a little like "if I get bored I'll take my ball and go home" which leaves everybody else hanging.
Trick, how can my intentions in entering be questioned? that didn't even make sense to me. I like the rules and format, and the tier level, and so I entered. I would have raised the same protest as a judge...and if you'll remember, I promised you that I would when we ended our interaction in Evangel's tourney (citing her faults in tourney directing do not excuse your own, btw, though you were the only one who didn't follow the rules, and who didn't bother to check on the legality of your strategy either, then b*tched and insulted after it was banned).
We've only been at odds because you've continually shown yourself not be up to the standard that judges should be. There's Smurph's incident to consider, where you willfully didn't show up for matches in order to ruin the tournament's schedule of matches. Or where you told me flat-out that you don't take tournaments seriously, and that you were just f*cking around with your strategy and participation. Having fun and being serious do not have to be mutually exclusive, a point that seems to have eluded you.
Along those lines, what's this deal about the thrill of debate? I love tourneys. They're f*cking awesome. I'm not quite sure where you see a reason to question me on that...and it also doesn't have any bearing on the topic at hand. But as stated before, they're awesome because people don't treat them like their personal dumping holes.
It's not a grudge. I don't even know what you're referring to with the scan-thing you mentioned. I didn't even remember you judging a match of mine, and certainly wouldn't be raising a fuss over what was probably a legitimate vote. I just don't think you should be judging. You're immature to a fault. And clearly it's not just me. We have 6 votes for banning you, and no concentrated rebuttal except from yourself.
