Actually I don’t care about Todd, and I can stomach the art. The writer is one of the most unappreciated, God Slayer IMO was the best Spawn title topping the main franchise itself.

Issue #156. Spawn fights against the goddes of death- Kali. Though I won't resort to leonheartmm logic about "having abstract in rogue gallery=having abstract level offensive power"- it's silly...And he was beaten pretty badly when stopping the army of Violators- ended up hospitalised and hallucinating for almost 5 issues^

Wait I don’t understand, Spawn got manhandled in both occasion. Kali stopped him dead in his tracks, didn’t even get a chance to land a single hit or do anything really. The other is a low showing, since the public became psychotic (I cant recall the mob gaining any super powers or clown powers), and he got mauled.

In fact, I'll let it slide. The third age is the most vulnerable Spawn, though...and beating Disciples was his uberest feat- he relied on Legion much and that's banned.

Not a Spawn reader btw ... what real differences are there from one age to another ... and why/how do these diffrerences come about?

1st one- hell powers, necroplasm body, limits in energy
2nd one- King of Hell+Green powers
3rd- full-blown hell powers, no energy limits
4th- God Spawn
5th- "Shitty Spawn", who didn't do anything featworthy and is worth 20-25 points by tier system

Anyways, as stated before, Judomaster should be high street... the fact that it's not necessarily a power is completely irrelevant. Karate Kid has little actual power, but he's still ranked in Low Herald.

If it's not a power, it means JM's skilled enough to go one on one with Wildcat and avoid getting touched once.
