Zachary can't affect sentient beings\people directly (that including himself) though he can cause things with his magic that can cause indirect harm (just as long as he targets spell on an object and not on a person- when targeted on person it won't work)- like making tree fall on someone etc. He can affect equipment\clothing\weaponry on a person, though.
He can't perform OHKOs and is <<<Nico Minory or even Mandarin in terms of combat ability.

Yes it can be. Though offensive use of matter manipulation is banned, matter manipulation by itself is OK. Character was OKed by Ill before and it was he whom I doublechecked. That's like with TP- you can't mindcontrol your opponent, but you can draft a telepath freely.
2. No offensive matter manipulation. Only the elements of the battlefield can be altered.

Peeves/problem picks: Zach Zatara. I'm gonna let him pass, but the name alone is cause for concern. Spawn. I'm dead certain he had the green powers during Third age. I strongly think first age repick is warranted. Which version of Machine Man? Sinister.........? ❌
The matter manipulation rule (like the no mind control rule for telepaths and the speed cap) prohibits the use of matter manipulation on your opponent. Characters that possess these abilities (matter manipulators/transmuters, telepaths, speedsters) are still allowed. Those methods of attack/ability are simply not available.
Trick, you're going to have to remember that the limit is High Meta. Not Iron Man, which it is normally associated with. Prove to me that MM (current, btw) or Sinister belong in Low Herald and I'll happily concede the point. They don't. They'd get thrashed by nearly anyone at that level, or would put up a good fight but lose....the same that is often said of IM vs. Low Heralds. Hell, Tony has hung with High Heralds for a while, even in normal armor. Being at the top of, say, middle school math students, does not mean you'd beat high school math students on tests. Same thing.
I drafted some strong, badass picks. No obvious fancy meshes, but they are as good as nearly anyone that will be drafted. But it doesn't make them illegal. I find it weird that everyone I drafted is in the tiers thread, which ahs been up for years, and no one's ever even mentioned those two as belonging elsewhere. There's a reason for that.

My aren't you modest. 😄
Well if they're being brought up for discussion, it certainly speaks to their power level. Though, granted, I can't really name many people Trick hasn't questioned since drafts started, so it's not like I'm in elite company.
But my earlier point(s) stands. Right now, my only concern is demystifying the Spawn mess and figuring out if he should be allowed or not. Otherwise, people have been surprisingly trustworthy with not trying to sneak picks in (though my objection to Judomaster at 10 pts. remains 😛 ).
I spent 2 pages worth of debating. I cant say, anyone has pointed out a conclusive reason as to why my pick exceeds the 30 point limit.
I read:
limitless energy. Ok what did he do with those energies? Do you really think it a matters? Spawn isn’t going to spend 50 issues worth of energy in a single battle.
Full Blown Hell powers. What fullblown hell powers, it’s the same powerset? Legion was the only new ability gained, and its banned.
Immortality? This is his most vulnerable state, get him out of the suit and you have a defenseless human.
That's just it. We don't have any idea. It takes a PHD in Spawn just to figure out his iterations and Ages and whatnot. Only a few people, some not even in the tourney, can intelligently make any case for or against him.
I think what might help is if you outlined the basic power set that you'll be using for this version of Spawn, and what basic levels each of those powers are at. It wouldn't be revealing anything, just like you were writing a wiki "powers" section or something. It'd be a scout's honor type of thing, but we'll know if you hide something then use it later, and it's beyond the caps.
I think that would allay most of our fears. Because otherwise, the mistrust isn't going to end. The dude was basically abstract level at one point from what I understand....that kind of potential, even in slightly different form, is going to upset a lot of people unless we know that he's cut off from it entirely.

First Age (issues 1-100)
Second Age - aka King of Hell (issues 101-120)
Third Age - (issues 121-160)
Fourth Age - aka God Spawn (issues 161-164)
Fifth Age - aka current Spawn (issues 165-181)

He became god like not by his power set, but because an Omnipotent God granted him such powers. I have no idea, how to recuperate those critical levels. At least not with the current rule set. I say its more within reason for any character to seek out and find cosmic cubes then to gain Images God Like power.
And his power set is outlined in the wiki, with members being able to look up possibly the most detailed respect thread out their. Members can PM me, if they need to get a hold of anything related to Spawn. How about that for scout honor?

He can use his powers from 1st age but on much grander scale as restrictions on energy were removed, thus putting him into low herald limit.
Darling, seriously, redraft that to 1st age and stop giving us headaches.

Sweet heart, name those powers that 3rd age spawn did on a grander scale compared to his first age. And tell me this is a Low Herald feat. I will promptly switch over to first age, if you can do so.

As I've already said- I don't care, those seemed equal featwise but there were some CIS on part of 3rd age Spawn..etc. I don't care much, though🙂
Well my claim stands for anyone, show me grander display of powers from 3rd age compared to 1st age. And point it’s a Low Herald feat, and I will promptly switch over to first age.
In the mean time, if you can read a bit about Spawn. It is actually vary good, and sported some top writers, with unique art (for its moment). Unless you detest the whole demonic, gore fest thing.
