Delph's League of Champions Season One Discussion Thread

In all honesty, I'm looking forward to battles, against any foe. We have to face everyone at some point, so I'm not terribly bothered by matchups...it's not like a tough draw in a 16-team tourney, because we face everyone eventually. I feel like it's more fair, and also gives everyone better bang for their buck. Imagine all of this prep, then half the teams going out after the first round. Not a sensation I'm familiar with ( 😎 ) but I'd imagine it would suck.

Anyway, no one is to be underestimated. Yet, at least. I don't presume to be smart enough to figure out everyone's plans, which are undoubtedly more complex than the best I can come up with for them. Especially for the vets. The same would go for my team, I would hope.

Scoob/leo's team is getting the biggest hype because it's an obvious blend of power and versatility, backed by obviously competent debaters. Mine is being heralded as the most overtly powerful, but lacking meshing capability. Blair/Smurph have been receiving moderately less attention, which I suppose is "under the radar" for equally impressive resumes. Opinions on the others have varied. That's all well and good, but everything will change as soon as writeups come out, and also as the tourney progresses. Very few reveal everything in the opening rounds.

Any attack that takes a character five minutes (or less/more) to recover from should count as a KO.
