So a partner team doesn't have to go 5/5 on posts. That's kinda cool. So, for example, Smurph and Blair can go 6/4 for Smurph to make him feel important early on, then switch to about 8/2 for Blair when the matches get serious.

It's not really trash talking. There's a difference. I could no more smack talk guys like Smurph, Blair, Scoob, leo, etc. than my own mother. Heck, I'm talking to most of them via PM about one aspect or another of the tourney, so smack would just be silly.

But the legit smack, where people "know" that their team is >>>> everyone else's, and let us know that they think so, is what doesn't appeal to me. Always seemed pretty needless, especially when those people generally end up looking foolish once battles start.

I like to compete, and to win, but I'm also aware of the intelligence and talent of other competitors. This sort of talk is just BS to pass the time before battles start, and I don't mind it as much, even though it's mainly to curb our boredom/anticipation for fights.

You can PM me your write up anytime you wish so long as it's before 10:00a (PST) on Monday.

Ladies and gentlemen, an announcement:

In the past, I have come up with my own rather brilliant team names. General Kinky, The God Squad, Bigfoot (Scoob's tourney, but my name), etc. etc.

But for this tournament, it named itself. Since Minion is kinda my "flagship" character on the team, when the big man himself came forward and suggested a name, I couldn't say no.

Thus I give you....

The Butt-kickers of the Fantastic!!

God Squad was my idea.
