I was thinking about this debate over the audio clip issue today and I think it would be best that if any of you are going to utilize this option (going forward) you should provide a transcript of what you say as well. It can be a simple text file uploaded to Zshare or some other free file sharing site that's readily accessible via d/l, and you can just provide a link to the transcript (which eliminates the reference issue) along with the clip. Hell, you can even provide video diagrams if you have the time.
I dig the innovation. Not just for style points, but hearing someone explain their plan adds more emphasis and connotation that gets lost with plain text.

The "debate" is just that Kandy doesn't like it. I'm actually planning on skipping it for my match with him, because I'm here to have fun, not to be a jerk by needlessly frustrating my opponents.
No one else seems to have a problem with it, except for my opponent. I find it odd, though, that's there's more to respond to in the written part of my writeup than fangirl's entire writeup. Should I be complaining as well?
But seriously, it's one part of one post in matches that can have up to 20 posts. Statistically speaking, it's almost meaningless. And I spend hours prepping for each match. Surely my opponents can spend an extra 15 minutes breaking down an audio post, yes?
I'll post transcripts if I need to. But the plan was always to make them much shorter after round 1. So they'll be in an accompanying role. I likely won't need to.
