No one else seems to have a problem with it, except for my opponent. I find it odd, though, that's there's more to respond to in the written part of my writeup than fangirl's entire writeup. Should I be complaining as well?

But seriously, it's one part of one post in matches that can have up to 20 posts. Statistically speaking, it's almost meaningless. And I spend hours prepping for each match. Surely my opponents can spend an extra 15 minutes breaking down an audio post, yes?

I'll post transcripts if I need to. But the plan was always to make them much shorter after round 1. So they'll be in an accompanying role. I likely won't need to.

I'm fine with audio as long as there's a transcript.

Also, I'm at my buddy's for the rest of the week. No power on the home unit until Saturday, according to the power company. I'm a touch handicapped without my full array of resources, and don't have any scans with me tonight (though I will tomorrow). I also will almost certainly not have time to make a new audio post. Lucky KFish, I guess.

Anyway, I may respond tonight in our match, or I might just hold off until I can properly address everything. Logic can take me plenty far, but I hate having to describe scans instead of posting them.

Well I'm arguing off of logic. I"m in the hospital on a laptop that is totally and utterly slow and craptastic. So You still have the advantage.

And my voice is actually kind of subdued in the audio clip. I don't think you can get "dorky" from teh tone. The intense comic geek-dom, absolutely dorky! But my voice itself is fairly baritone...I toned it up in timbre a bit so that I didn't sound too menacing, but it's not like I have a voice that screams chess club or something.
