"And what are their reasons to go on a strike?"

Renegades-
Great... Unless Sean can shoot it down I don't see anything we can do about the drone.

RENEGADES

Very possibly so! And you know, you think some of those forces in the distance are heading in your direction...

JEDI

"They are not being paid enough! Listen, because of the ionic conditions you cannot use robotic labour in the mines. The conditions are caused by the mineral they are mining so it is the same all over the constellation. It's man on man that has to do the work down there; it's hard and dangerous work and so they can ask for a better cut if they want.

"Also Eckersly had some concerns about the contracts; he's bringing the paperwork along today."

DARK SIDE

Ok, your approach is so noted, Gordo! You are quite a charismatic guy, and you have certainly had some effect. Your Intimidation is good too, so your demonstration certainly shut them all up!

What format we will follow now, is that we will have a bit of back and forth speechifying (wanting to give all playing Dark Siders a chance to speak), then everyone will break off for their own discusisons, and you cna work on individual tribe leaders to ty and get their vote, and then we will come back for the result!

One of the leaders stands and makes a simple speech.

"What do you fear more?" he says. "Death... or slavery? The save dies every day, whereas the warrior dies but once!"

That gets a certain amount of applause.

I am not sure to the procedure now, do all of us Dark Side players answer every single argument or how does it work (I don't want to hog all playing time and leave heretical out, just cause we are in close time zones)

If I have a pistol then I'll take the shot. We should have stayed where we were 😛

Denzral wearily glances at Jovan. "I thought the Republic brought money and equipment to ease the problems?"

Give it your own rebuttal, then we shall see if Azarl wants to make one too.

WAY out of pistol range too. That thing is a speck! No non-Jedi would have spotted it (well, no non-named character anyway).

"The Miners do not think their share is enough, clearly," says Trema.

"Are you talking about the slavery that awaits you under Orgos rule? And yes, a warrior does not fear death, but his loved ones do. And believe me when I tell you, there are much worse fates than death."

"Well what about the guild. What is the Guild going to gain from this."

"Gain? Nothing. Like I said, this is what we are here for."

((I'm no good at politics...))

Rex (in an odd Dark Side twist, it is probably a trick) gave you some good advice earlier.

tptmanno, your lead Jedi guy, is on holiday, but I am sure one of the Jedi will help you.

(hint hint)

How high can the buzzing bugs go? High enough to get a shot off at the droid?

Possibly yes- though seems a bit late in the day!

got a question... do we (the Jedi) know how Darth Bane started out? 'Cause he started working in the mines too, also in very bad conditions. If we know that story, we might persuade the Republic to help the planet out even more.

another question: what is the exact position of the Jedi and the senate/senator? He doesn't want to give that much extra (I think), so the Jedi should agree with him because they serve the senate or do they have their own opinion which can defer from this particular senator?

Depends on your Jedi Lore score, the first bit.

Jedi are respected because their voice is independant and not dictated by the Senate. On the other hand you cannot ignore the politial considerations of the Republlic, which you serve. It's a very tough line and no-one should envoy you your job.

It is generally considered that your job is to make the Senate's plan work- the Senate requested Jedi arbitration, after all.

But in the end, you have to analyse the situation and act in the way you feel is most appropriate.

My scores a litte low for that...

I have 3 on Jedi Lore, which is standard for Scholar but I added 1 to it. Is that high enough?

Ok, I joined this place to get some experience in role play because I wanted to attend a real life role play, but before the games here already started I already played a session (Fading Suns). I can't remember what template and stuff, but they said I was "lawfully good" and sometimes had to be more lawful and sometimes more good. So... this is pretty much the same than?

Azarl observes Con's method of silencing the arguing Epireans, but waits until the tribal leader speaks.

"I think... you are missing the point... actually..." Azarl says, slowly and with emphasis, running a hand over his bald head. "You see, while you may... dislike... being subservient to us, there is still much to be gained from it. On the other hand... death... of a warrior... is final and useless. Some of our numbers may not understand that, but I assure you... that they will. The Epireans are valuable. We know that. You are saying that slavery... is elongated but equally useless. Not so. There is so much to gain from siding with us! We have power that we are slowly increasing. Imagine where the Epireans would be if they helped us out with that, rather than smashing it down with your little... bronze... axe-y things."

Con chuckles with Azarl's last comment.
