How so? The Monitor and his sheilds easily tanked it. Why can't Thanos teleport away for a few moments and come back after the chain reaction that originally destroyed the universe left the area?

In a chain reaction type thing. It was specifically referenced as a chain reaction. The universe still exists it just destroyed all life in it.

Not if he can return in time. You can teleport out for a few seconds and it not be considered a loss. He could teleport to a location in that said universe the explosion hasn't hit yet. I also think he could tank it since that Monitor did so.

Monarch is more powerful no way for Thanos to win he breaches his armor dead tries to fight him dead. Monarch for the vast majority.

It didn't kill the Monitor or destroy his shield. If the armor is breached he loses anyways. The match ends there.

Monarch isn't more powerful than Odin. If the armor is breached he loses.
