Well, that's your personal definition, but it's not common usage. The only people who call pro-choicers, pro-abortionists are usually hardcoe "pro-lifers" that want to paint an incorrect picture of the believes their opponents have. But you go ahead and use that termn, knock yourself out, mate.

I actually meant, in my original post a pro-abortionist is a person who supports the legality of abortion. As apposed to an anti-abortionist who is a person who does not support the legality of abortion. I disaprove of the terms pro-choice and pro-life because they are really just propaganda labels.

However, rather than saying that I felt the need to go all Chick Publications on you all...still, dont underestimate the Japanese!

Out of curiosity though where does one derive the Japanese are as enamored with abortion as they are with Doraemon and Hello Kitty?

It does concern me to some extent, but I don't think it will make a huge difference in November.

I don't think they're negatives when they're reported accurately and in context. One of the reasons I supportted him in the primary was because I made an effort to understand what he meant and what he actually said when he was strung up for saying something. I admit the "clean" comment was a forehead slapping moment, but most of the time I agree with his gaffs because they aren't meant as such.

A Professor from Japan explained to me that the abortion debate here is non-existent in Japan, he said to the Japanese its just like going to the dentist to get your teeth out.

But this thread isn't about some back water third world country in the heart of Africa or Asia, so the term "pro-abortionist" doesn't apply.

What does "getting your teeth out" mean? You mean the whole thing is just nonchalant for them? How many teeth have you just decided to have removed on a whim?

Still don't see how that would count as "pro-abortion". Unless they encourage women to get pregnant to get an abortion. Do they?
