Well, I only know Bayh from the media, he's a great speaker and good at owning people, but I don't remember the crowd being that enthusiastic as I saw them with Biden.
Haha, not even close. He tried to talk about competing in states like California or Connecticut, but he doesn't have nearly enough money to try. Obama has opened 24 offices in Indiana alone, and McCains opened one. Obama opened offices in Montana, South Dakota, and Alaska.
All McCain can do is use what money he has to pour resources into the toss-up states.

I'd love to see sithsaber's opinion.

That there are certain states that McCain doesn't need to spend much money in and he'll still win them.
All he has to do is put together more performances like the Saddleback forum and "empty suit" Obama will lose. (those particular states, mind you. Ones that are already "red"😉
It's not about who has the most money for advertising. McCain could spend a billion dollars in California, he won't win it.
It's about who can win the most "swing" states.
That's what sithsaber would say about it.
Oh, and daily gallup poll has them dead-even at 45%. http://www.gallup.com/home.aspx
Hardly "in the bag".
I must say I agree with Strangelove, 2000 was an important lesson in this area.
Obama is both the candidate I want to win and the one I believe will win. And as one of your neighbors to the north here in Canada, I can tell you there is a strong pro-Obama sentiment up here. If America wants to re-build it's good will amongst other countries then I think this is the man to do it.

It's in the bag because Obama has a slight lead already and has a hugely better campaign. Unless something catastrophic happens, he'll win.
Originally posted by StrangeloveAnd that's quite poor, considering as Obama was usually seen in the 290s/300s.
National polls don't mean shit. It's the electoral college that matters, as 2000 taught us.FiveThirtyEight.com currently has the Electoral college prediction at Obama 279.6 to McCain's 258.4
Biden is a little RIAA whore..**** him if he thinks he can prosecute me for stealing music online.
n April, he proposed spending $1 billion in U.S. tax dollars so police can monitor peer-to-peer networks for illegal activity.
Really? 1 billion dollars to track down people downloading songs? That 1 billion dollars can't be spent else ware (in before IT WILL COME FROM THE ENDLESS SUPPLY OF MONEY THAT WILL RAIN FROM THE SKY WHEN WE LEAVE IRAQ!)?
