It only took him his entire comic career 😄

Rulk got beat down, by the look of it Rulk was done before Red She Hulk and distract Hulk if wasn't for her Hulk would've beat down Ross even worse.

It seems that

Spoiler:
Rulk got depowered!

^ Drastically.

Spoiler:
Absorbing biopower is what made him such a powerhouse... And thanks to Banner's 'alterations', he can't do that anymore.

anyone else think Rulk's been pressed into service too quickly?

sure Banner's got other problems to deal with but there's Skaar, he could have managed the situation (quite likely a lot more efficiently) than Rulk.

also, agree with an earlier series of posts saying that Banner's personality has changed. I think this is something very positive as, in the past, they seemed scared to let the character actually learn from his past experiences (keeping him on an endless loop of searching for a "cure", finding it futile, finding it necessary to be The Hulk to save the day, then back to fearing the power and searching for a cure), scared that they would have to think up some new arcs rather than rehashing 70s/80s stuff... ever since M-Day and Hulk's foray into meditation, the character of Banner has been slowly growing, imo.

Good feat from Banner and M.O.D.O.K., kind of crappy for Ross.

The Incredible Hulks 614 was pretty good. This title continues to be well written.

That issue really show how stagic Banner can be, but I miss my big dummy green bear...

or maybe a craze killer Hulk (Doomsdays) would be sufficient.

I have always hated the dumb Hulk, it's probably why Mavel got rid of Drax the dummy, and brought in the Ridick clone. People like characters with depth. Well at least I do.

I like current Hulk. He can be smart or revert to a mean bad ass. durhulk

Banner needs to get his ass beat. Seriously. This tough talk is getting annoying. Dude was mouthing off to Steve f*cking Rogers.

Too bad it'll never happen. Not with Pak writing. Both he and the Hulk need to be taken down a peg or two.

And Pak pushes the entire "Hulk is a hero" angle too much. The entire savior thing he did with World War Hulk has gotten old and it's too Superman like. It was interesting I'll admit.

And lullz at the Hulk out maneuvering Rogers.

I'm still young. Maybe I should become a writer.

Zip it! 😛 Banner outmaneuvering Steve isn't as outlandish as you may want to believe. Bruce is on a higher intellectual plane than Steve ever will be (truth). Steve f*cking Rogers might as well be Mr. Rogers when compared to Bruce, imagine if the Hulk decided to take it to him and his team? At that point I would agree that Pak had crossed the line.

Pak's writing ability seems to put the vast majority of writers to shame these days, and if not why would you subject yourself to reading the latest Hulk comic? Aside from the fact that it was a good read (Incredible Hulks 614). I'm almost certain that you can't wait to see where this whole thing is leading to. I know that I can't. Who wrote Chaos War 1? That person should be critiqued not Pak, because it was a snorefest.

Also why wouldn't Banner talk tough? He can throw a mountain, while Rogers... well you know.

Who the f*ck cares if Banner can build better tech than Rogers? When it comes to battle strategy and so on, Rogers > Banner.

Sure, if you count all those basement dwelling f*gs who write fan fics.

I didn't read the book itself. I just skimmed through the scans Guy posted to see how the battle went. I don't give a shit about the current Hulk arc.

The entire Hiro angle is so incredibly boring. The last Hulk issue I read was #611 I believe.

Haha f*ck no. I can't read more than two pages involving that gray little turd without putting the book down.

1) It's Steve f*cking Rogers.
2) It's Banner not the Hulk and Steve can call on all the Avenger members if you want to play the power card.
3) It's Steve f*cking Rogers.

1. Banner would roll Steve up into a ball, and throw him away like a frisbee.

2. All of the Avengers? Didn't a weaker Hulk trash 20+ Avengers by himself?

3. 😂

Your personal fap material doesn't count as cannon.

Oh but it happened, therefore it's canon.

Who sells more comics Steve Rogers or the Hulk? You ever wonder why Marvel killed him off? Did you care?

When did Hulk beat 20 plus Avengers?

What the hell does sales have to do with this discussion?

Roger's doesn't have his own ongoing title anymore but he is the main character in Secret Avengers and I'm pretty sure it's been in the Top Ten since the first issue.

The Thor title has consistently been in the Top 20 for the last 3 years I believe. IRCC, at one point, Thor outsold even the main World War Hulk title (Came in #1 for that month)

I included Thor because I know sooner or later his going to be involved so might as well get it out of the way.

The Hulk tore into the entire roster of both Avengers east and West Coast, back in the previous volume, I believe the Arc began around Incredible Hulk 300 and ended around 320. In 314 - 318 the Hulk was stomping the Avengers.

Hey Thor has nothing to do with this. 😄

It's been while but I'm pretty sure there was less than a dozen Avenger's fighting him.

The main characters engaged in the battle where Namor, Hercules, Wonder Man and Iron Man. And no, I'm pretty sure he was not stomping them. I think there was a rematch later on in #321 where She-Hulk, Captain Marvel, Captain America, Hawkeye, the Wasp and Tigra joined in but I don't recall them doing much other than She-Hulk.
