Sephiroth vs Pyron

And the power of Countless galaxies is an unkown, sure he ate enormous amounts of planets after his homeworld and after he found Earth he snacks while he was waiting but does anything actually say countless galaxies? hes about a 3rd the size of the sun going only by the logic that apprently hellstorm watever his homeworld was called is apprently bigger than Juptier ,but even Juptirer is tiny comapred to the sun. ive not seen proof on Hellstorms size.

measuring Volume=

jupiter= 1321.3 Earths
Sun=1,300,000 Earths

Either way how much eh has eaten, does it actually tell you anywehre that it makes him mcuh stronger by eaten planets? or is he simply eating because hes hungry? thus, that doesnt mean hes necsserily got so much power.

No need to bring up numbers, but from all solid screenings shown so far, he is a couple of sizes the size of Earth.

no smart one, I want you to show me Holy travelling like that please.

A nuclear blast is uncontrolled destructive energy blasting from all direction from the point of where it was ignited, Holy is controlled destructive energy coming in one direction to its destination

4:55, if Holy was aimed at Midgar it wouldve evaporated the entire metropolis city

the Atomic Bomb destroyed the city Hiroshima, look at how big Holy is, it takes up a big portion of the planet (the white area under Meteor)

Its all the story, even parts the player is playing is story, what are you calling story? all the cutscenes, do you know how wrong you are if thats what you belve, if we cut out all the cutscenes from some games and just played them, they wouldnt make a story and they wouldnt make sense.

No not every choice the player plays is the actual canon storyline, there is only one true canon story just because i bought bolt 5x and ran around for countless hours in my game, doesnt mean that actually happens in the canon story, just because Sephiroth used supernova 10x in the final battle doesn't mean he actually did in the final battle in the actualy canon storyline, for example in my final battle against Sephiroth i had the Ultima weapon (it was an optional weapon) however that was not what Cloud actually had in the final battle, in AC it showed Cloud was actually carrying the Buster Sword in that final battle.

I'm not saying "just the cutscenes" are the only things that are canon, nor have i ever said that, if you read more proper you would know that i said cutscenes are one of the things that prove its in the canon storyline, like if there is a cutscene of Cloud escaping Midgar on a motorbike, then that is what actually happens in the storyline.

thing is any summoner can use their summon so imediatley its not a unique ability further encompassing the fact its not canon and what are you talking about sequels, FF games rarely from what ive seen have real sequels, theres only a few games that are set in the same universe really, since Tidus in FF10 is not in FF7 is he? their like lots of diffrent mini stories and universes from what ive seen.

Thing is, you've yet to prove that no one can learn spells but Kain, even madmel says other vampires are capable of learning spells.

No but thats the thing, your guessig now, your guessing, I could just as easily say Mundus may be able to eventually learn all of Dantes moves, therefore their not unique and Dante cannot use them in debates....your falling over again, pick yourself up. Kain mentions he has the spell in the storyline in his script, ive just shown you a page ago.

Thats a bad example, because Mundus is basically a completely different entity, now if we talk about Vergil, or another being similar to Dante, we can't really say they're unable to learn the things Dante learns without proof, its not guessing, its a likely possibility.

Kung Fu is a skill that becomes a characters attribute, its something you spend alot of time training that it builds into your body, and increases your reaction speed, timing, etc, its like weight lifting, you spend time training your muscles so that strength becomes part of the characters attribute, learning a spell usually doesn't change the actual character in any attribute, except maybe a bit of knowledge.

As optional as all of Dantes abilities that are aslo canon, their all storyline abilities that Kain mentions, and Knights of the round is the same as every Summon as ive mentioned, theres nothing more "non unique to characters" than materia.

You mean Kain describing the spells he acquires? We've already been over this, Kain describing a spell means nothing, and you've still to show me proof that a spell can only be learned by Kain and no one else in the LOK universe.

W8 a min, now your saying he acquires it in the storyline? where? are you talking about a cutscene, now I think were getting to the bare bones of your failure, your calling everything thats not a cutscene, not storyline..thats why you are having difficulty in debating this and why you dont seem to know whats canon or not, cutscenes in games are not the only canon bits in games. its no diffrent and saying he has diffrent forms doesnt mean anything, simply put, he doesnt have it in DMC 4, which is set after DMC 1 in which he has flight. Thus my point stands.

... Yes Dante DOES acquire quicksilver in the actual storyline, after he defeats Geryon the boss, its nothing optional.

Again, i think you're having trouble reading, because i've NEVER stated that ONLY cutscenes are canon, i said cutscene are ONE of the things that proves its canon, please learn to read more proper.

How does being different forms not mean anything? One form can fly, the other form cannot, that simple.

No its not, you see this is where you fail again, the reaver is Magical and it rips souls.....the spell spirit Death is magical and it Rips souls now do we see the comparisons, how if a guy who can be damaged by the same attributes as the spell, but not by the spell, its obvious that its gameplay that Kain cannot tkae out bosses if it was not already obvious already ofc...but it seems I have to explain these things to you.

The reaver is more powerful then the spells, you should know that, isn't the soul reaver supposed to be one of the most powerful things in the LOK universe? Probably because it injures the opponent with the reaver allowing it to take its soul, instead of just zapping the soul from whoever he chooses that simple.

Because he doesnt need it, and developers dont want him to either, as both me and Madmel have listed games where characters lost abilities they obviously have in canon this should be obvious in itself. Also as I said, who would he use it against? theres no one he even NEEDS to use the spell on, whos he going to use his power on? some knights that he could kill in one strike with a slash of his sword? Who would Kain even possibly need in Defiance to use his spell on?

Why wouldn't he need to? You're saying no one was of threat to Kain in his entire story, no one ever opposed him?

It doesnt have to be used in the storylnie and technically, some say the power Kain uses in the storyline in Soul reaver 1 is infact a form of Spirit death as well, either way, Kain mentions it in the story.

No but if it does, it proves that its canon, what power in SR1 "is a form of spirit death" Kain mentions spirit death in the story? You mean him descirbing the spell he acquired? (which had nothing to do with the story)

Because its unecessary, as I said earlier he has an uber indestructable sword, whos he going to bother ripping out the soul when humans are like rag dolls to him anyway, why use a canon when a knife will do? why use a nuclear bomb when a carpet bombing of 1000lb bombs is fine? you wouldnt woudl you.

Because using a canon requires a lot of effort, just as battling with a sword does, simply ripping out a soul requires no effort.

As you said, in the story thus its canon, its in the story even by your logic, regardless of how mandatory it is, it proves its canon, its not gameplay, its not even telling you about the spell and its written in the usual Kain tongue anyway, his nobleman arrogant tone, its not some "press this in-game to get this effect" like you were descrbiing.

no it has nothing to do with the story, its just kain describing the spell "the spell allows me the dissect the soul of the creature".

No becuase completly being unheard means it was simply forgotten due to developer decision like ive said before me and Madmel has shown you this, it happens in a lot of games, developers choose not to use all the spells and tbh I dont blame them, there were a lot of overpowered spells kain can get.

Again, its an optional spell, nothing stated it was canon in the first place, the fact that it was enver actually used in the story, he never even used it on anyone, and the fact that it was unheard of again, means kain most likely never got it in the canon-storyline, its not that the developers just "forgot" about the spell, or is just hiding it, or they "accidently" made kain to powerful thus had to put handicaps on him, thats just your theory because you WANT kain to be so "uber powerful".

Perhaps Holy somehow being stopped by willpower is also a plot device stupidity, keep in mind that everyone only assumes that its TK sephiroth uses to stop it and not simply willpower as described by many, is there anything that says Sephiroth used TK on it directly? the power of friendship is a feat none the less, simply a ridiculous one in your eyes but then so is stopping a ball of energy with your will alone.....that sounds just as ridiculous "I want Holy to stop and be under my control!!" then suddenly through his will it happens.

No thats just what you want it to be, if we hear it from the actual developers words it makes sense, they state how powerful Sephiroths willpower is, their are very powerful characters in the FF7-verse, and the developers even state Sephiroth as the most powerful, how is stopping a destructive energy with will "ridiculous" anything Sephiroth does in your opinion is ridiculous because you don't like the character, its that simple, if he destroyed an entire country you would try to pick at something and try to downplay his feat, or call it ridiculous in one way or another.

Right, I'm fed up with the reports from this thread. People have had their chance. It's getting closed.

Thank those who could not post anything without baiting or trolling others.
