man, you are so smart, you have shown me.

boy, I couldn't get you to clarify something on a discussion message board. You have really been the more mature debater today. lol, better go wipe that egg off my face, because, boy, hoo wee!

so, totally unrelated, but if you just want to spout ambiguous rabble and not discuss it at any depth other than you just repeating the same statement, why not start a blog?

Not in the exact way you wanted me to, no. As I said, if your looking for a debate where you get to write the answers as well as the questions. Put it down in a script and give it to people willing to act it out.

I have told you and explained my views on love.

We are now at a take it or leave it stage.

no, you have yet to explain anything. My only request is a simple explanation of what an affectionate emotional response is.

I have explained things, simply not in the way you want.

As I said a dictionary should be sufficient.

you haven't stopped posting 😉

And this is starting to border on trolling.

How on earth would a dictionary be sufficient at explaining something so personal and subjective in nature?

I don't see it completely in those terms though.

lol

no dictionary has a definition for "affectionate emotional response". It would define each term, but like I have said, for any functional purpose, it is essentially meaningless unless you are willing to expand on how it is you are using the full term.

for instance, a search on PubMed, where scientific literature about biology and medicine/life sciences/computer intelligence/tons of other stuff is stored, returned no results for that phrase. So, its obviously something you made up.

so again, why not just post an explanation?

And your incapable of understanding the phrase given the meaning of the words involved?

Please, do explain.

I don't build love up in my mind to be this grand and miraculous thing beyond definition or description the way some people seem to.

yes, this is exactly what I am expressing to you

in my understanding of human behaviour, the term you have said might as well be "indigo starlight response"

Then that is a result of a lack of comprehension on your part.

I bet I look dumb

by the way, did you happen to think of a response to the amygdala example I gave you?

So you're saying that an "affectionate emotional response" is exclusive to love?

It's not about whether it can be defined, but whether that definition would be sufficient.

Thats not something I can answer.

So you're saying that an "affectionate emotional response" is exclusive to love?

It's what I use as a definition for love yes.

It's not about whether it can be defined, but whether that definition would be sufficient.

For me it is.
