The sky above you starts to flash vivid blue, Xeth.

Odd.

Before Xeth can respond to Denzral's message requesting an update, the Jedi notices that the sky above is flashing a vivid blue, something that one does not normally see.

"Hang on, Denzral," Xeth says, cutting communications briefly. He studies the fighter's sensors and takes the starfighter higher to get a better view of what is going on in the air, careful to evade Vulture droids.

You can't tell anything useful from down here. Nothing you can see is causing it.

Can Xeth fly higher, towards the edge of the planetary shield?

"Xeth, whats going on?! Is everything ok?" Vassisk asked into his com.

Does Denz or anyone else notice the sky pulsing? Observation roll.

A lot of enemies up there.

It's a period of time to check the up-above situation.

Xeth will dedicate the time required to check it out. It is important that we know what is going on and what our enemies are doing in their effort to break out of the red zone.

"Sorry, Denzral," Xeth says. "Something strange is happening in the sky above me. I'm going to check it out. The Trade Federation is using Hailfire droids to hammer at the Selenian forces in the Mopet Valley and sending in a ridiculous number of battle droids. The Selenians themselves are deploying skimmers and mobile artillery to contend with the Federation tanks, but they will need help clearing those battle droids. I want all of our Jedi deployed to the Valley to help the ground battle, except for Sean. I need him to represent us at Command. I'm going to see what I can do to help the situation."

Well, you aren't there yet, Denz, and only people at the command centre can get a general sense of the campaign.

Right then, I'll head off to the command centre in whatever ship there is spare.

It's in the city; easy enough to get transport there.

Ok, well Denz is heading to the battle, as soon as Damage Points are 0.

You were still at 25 when you finished resting earlier Denz; any longer and there may be no battle to get to.

Sean is off to the Command Centre then... sorry, just remind me here, who is then off to the fight after only one rest period?

And they are going to have to go in on foot, yes?

Did Kiu and Denzral not have an airship they were borrowing? If not, how long will it take them to get to the valley?

Getting there is no problem, it just locks them into what they do when they arrive, unlike, say, Xeth (who had options).

I guess Denz goes early. Will it make much difference?

Then, if it's alright with Sean, Vlad will rest a little bit more preparing for the battle.

Wentar and Jovan are getting to the Selenian lines now; there are thousands of blue-uniformed Selenian soliders around, tryign to find good places to deploy. The droids are numerous enough to be able to push through the artillery fire from the Selenians, whilst the Selenians trying to sto the droids out there are being pinned by the hailfire barrages in return, and are trying to find as much cover as possible. The presence of enemy tanks is also unhelpful.

Xeth- as you get higher, your scanners can identify the culprit. The Federation fleet has begun some sort of bombardments of the shield.
