Jovan- you find, amidst the chaos, an officer who tells you that more artillery is headed here ASAP to pound the valley senseless so not even the droid flood could get through, but the forces here need to hold out until it arrives.

but how can I make this match with me not actively taking a position? Saving civilians is something different than fighting an army no?

If Xeth could figure out what the Federation ships are doing to the shield before the fighters, he will do that. It seems rather important...

Well... what if Xeth left the atmosphere? It would draw Vulture droids after him to even the odds against the Selenian ships and Xeth could potential stop the bombardment...

Planetary shields can't be passed through. Denzral has an idea. "Arfour as soon as you can, I want you to hook up to the defence grid, and get me a diagnostic of the shields." He switched com channels. "Selenian Command center, I need a diagnostic scan ran on your shields. Look for energy fluctuations, of somekind of embedded signal. Or a virus."

They can be passed, they just have to be approached carefully. That's how we got into the atmosphere. Good idea checking with Command, though, see what they're getting.

Can Xeth radio in to Command and find out what is going on?

By leaving the atmosphere you mean going into space? You'll be outnumbered by hundreds up there.

Hmm. I'm not sure if Xeth can actually do anything up here other than watch things get bombarded. He is going to go down, back to the ground battle, and see if he can help turn things around.

Then that was all a waste of time I am afraid.

Do I know of any other "regular" jedi that are around? We can radio them in perhaps that we have landed right in the middle of a war, say that the droids were getting at civilians and that we are being overrun? They'll come late, of course, but might help in the aftermatch?

Around? You are at the rim of the Galaxy, well outside Republican space. There are none around.
