USH'S STAR WARS GAME- CAMPAIGN II EPISODE IV (RENEGADES)- Battlefield

As noted, there's not enough to make a rules difference.

so basicly, I can't do much of a difference or I'm just hanging back and let the soldiers march on and go after them?

Who said anything about you not making a difference? This is a war, you know. It's never going to be safe.

no, I mean about getting cover and such

No cover I am afraid, no.

so that's what I ment with the "can't do much" part 😖

What are you talking about? You can fight! Not all the battle droids will go after you if you go into battle. With Cleave you can take out two droids in a turn, not to mention that your allies will be shooting down droids too.

Jovan, your allies are fighting alongside you, besides I'll be there soon too, to "Grind those droids into tin cans and ship them off to the Tatooine Bantha-meat Packing company." lol

no, I mean... I'm going to the droids to chop them up but I can't use any cover or anything. That's what I mean: I can't boost my defence or anything.

Ah, so you are definitely going in on the attack then, yes?

Been thinking about what to do about the ion bombardment on the shield. Could shield power be redirected from the far side of the planet to reinforce the weakened sections here?

I guess so, if not I get the other Jedi on my case 😛

Wentar is dodging around this turn; good rolling keeps him safe!

Jovan is advancing forwards. Now under fire, eh takes six damage as he gets to the halfway point.

Xeth gets clipped again, but downing another target he still looks in control of things...

With the local generator out, the only reason their is a shiled here at all is because they are already stretching the other gens as far is it can be done.

see, that's what I ment: getting hurt while progressing

Well, to be fairm, there are always opotions,. You could scale the valley walls and drop down on the droids using Jump, you could use Dash to get there more quickly, you could have hitched a ride on Wentar's skimmer and jumped into the fray (in all three cases, works betetr if you have the correct powers).

Even when advancing forwards, powers like Co-ordination keepo you safer. As ever, it is up to the veteran playrs to help instruct the new guys...

those bastard 😛

Any chance of scaling the walls or whatever thati s?

Sorry, Jovan, I guess I didn't realize you needed to move in. My bad.

Since you are already heading in, I think you should just stay the course. The approaches that Ush mentioned would have been useful as a starting move. Use Coordination until you get into battle and once there, have it with the droids.

Xeth thinks that the aerial battle is starting to turn in favor of the Selenians as Vultures drop from the sky, blown apart in the dogfighting.

Is there a way that Xeth could distract Vultures so that the Selenians can get the drop on them? It could be more effective than Xeth picking off one fighter per turn...

As GM I concur with Xeth's advice about co-ordination.

Xeth- yes, you can do that. Likely means you will take more hits of course. Give me a ball park figure on how many you want to distract, bearing in mind you only remove successes equal to the number of successes you make on a Pilot roll.

Xeth will try to get three Vultures to go after him, so that they will be distracted in trying to blast him down and giving the Selenians clear shots.

When are me and Vera heading in?
