USH'S STAR WARS GAME- CAMPAIGN II EPISODE IV (RENEGADES)- Battlefield

Started by Jovan224 pages

well, if two guys who know what they're saying, are saying that... I'll follow 😄

I'll need to conclude this first fight before others arrive.

Xeth is in luck! Complete miss there. GHis evasive moves went very well!

Jovan arrives at the enemy lines as Wentar swings back in for another attack, this time nailing his target... but this time he takes a direct hit. His skimmer is destroyed and he is thrown clear! Vehicle-wise, the Selenians are in trouble...

now I have to tap those two things, right?

Not yet. You should fight the droids, as Cleave's natural effect is to kill two targets at once.

Wentar, however, should tap Reflection. It is most effective when you have multiple targets shooting at you.

well, that's what I ment... when fighting them I'm tapping those two things?

No, don't tap them, because then they will turn off the turn after.

Judging by what the tap does and how many enemies there are I will take your advice at tap reflection... Anything else I should do, technically this is my first fight outside of a vehicle. 😛

ok, so I'm not tapping them 😄

when do you know it's time to tap?

You would tap a Guard like Orthodox Guard for extra protection when you most need it; say if you were close to dropping and needed more time staying in the fight, or if a ridiculously dangerous attacks was coming your way and you needed more defense. I'll probably let you know when and what you should tap.

Wentar, just remember to swap Reflection for Bodyguard.

Ush... how far are they from the Federation tanks? Could they dismantle them?

Also, Xeth will try to tie up four vulture droids this time, hoping that distracting them from the airspeeders will increase the chances of his allies.

should I have tapped it before going in to the battle then?

Oh, no, because then you wouldn't have had any defense for the rest of the fight, until a refresh turn came up.

when do you get a refresh?

If you are at the battle lines, I will happily rule you are close enough to go for a tank. And those tanks are not actually very big; some lightsabre attacks in the right place would cripple them.

Refreshes are effectively random but they get more likely the longer it has eben since the last refresh.

Don't tap until you are in a dire condition/situation. Right now, you are in good health and taking two enemies per attack on the droids. Just pick a droid and slash away while heading towards the closest AAT.

ah, so tackling the AAT's and the droids that are on my way to it?

Exactly... works, right Ush?

Yup.

Though Jedi are never at their best when fighting like grunts; do bear in mind your full set of powers.

Jovan is advancing towards a tank; he cuts down two droids with ease.

I don't have an action from Wentar so I am afraid that goes wasted.

Xeth takes a hit btu his distraction tactics are working...

Enemy fire comes back at you. Wentar's Reflection tap downs three droids.

Note- Jovan's advance has been noticed, and it seems the droids are now designating Jedi as priority targets!

oh great,... is there now a chance we can get the droids to accidently hit the AAT? Like, we're standing next to it or something?

Oh, damn. Wentar, don't forget that you can act in addition to your Reflection tap. Also, swap Reflection out for Bodyguard and move up with Jovan.

If Jovan chose to Bombard a Federation tank, would that have any effect? Or are there any rocks that he could tug loose and let them drop on the tanks?

Xeth will distract four fighters again.
