USH'S STAR WARS GAME- CAMPAIGN II EPISODE IV (RENEGADES)- Battlefield

I'll need Denz's confirmation of handing his ship to Wentar.

Yup no problem. "Wentar, shes all yours, but just bing her back in one piece, ok?

Ok, Vera is sneaking up the side then... looks like you are going all-in on this one!

Is everyone at this point happy and confident with the rules?

Hmm, maybe Wentar should take the Nexu so that he can make use of Deadshot when he gets the chance...

Otherwise, I think we're set! I will help out anyone that finds trouble...

I'm ready to roll. So I'm taking Denz's ship yeah or the Nexu?

I think you should take the Nexu. Being a better pilot and being able to use Deadshot, you'll handle it better than Xeth does currently, whereas you'd just be committing overkill in the starfighter prototype.

Okay! Wentar will be borrowing the Nexu's Grin then! I'll take good care of it.

So is Xeth sitting this one out?

I think the idea was more that Wentar and Xeth were swapping ships (Xeth to the Jedi starfighter, Wentar to the Nexu) so that Wentar could make use of Deadshot later, with Vlad staying at the turret of the Nexu.

Ah, in that case, I am afraid not. If Xeth flies and his ship is available he uses it; Merits are not that transferrable.

Ah, okay then. Not a problem. I thought something like that might come into play. Xeth flies in the Nexu, then, and Wentar in the starfighter.

Alrighty then!

No, but that's due to me having no time to familiarize with them due to exams.

Denzral will be going in on foot. I will have my schticks Orthodox Guard, and Riposte in, while dormant as I wish to tap gunslinger first as I come into the battle and try and blast as many droids as possible once they,re in range, then swap in Reflection at the end of my turn and use my saber for the rest of the phase. That okay. Or does someone have a better suggestion? Maybe I can borrow a Selenian Blaster rifle?

I'll help you out, Jovan, no worries.

And Denzral, I'd wait to see what the situation in the valley is, as far as what your opponents are.

Unlike the Selenians the Battle Droids have not entrenched, but as ever they have numbers to rely on. Meanwhile they have also deployed some of the Super Droids (their armour will give the Selenians much more trouble and in large groups the single extra die they get with guns is telling. However, up close your sabres ignore their armour and they are still easy kills)

There is a three turn gap between the start of the Selenian attack and the front lines, and between the front lines and the 'rear'.

They don't have as many tanks invested this time as before- they don't have endless amounts of those things.

As we open, the Selenian Special Forces (actually taken from their law enforcement squads, sinmilar to SWAT teams) are one turn away from their 'drop points' atop the valley, and it is this turn that will be requiring the Intrusion roll to remain unnoticed. With luck, the Feds will move their defending forces forwards to the lines to meet the attack and the specials can do their job.

Selenian infantry numbers for the attack are not high; not many can be spared as casualties have been havy in previous rounds.

Three turns is just outside effective firing range so there will be dice penalties (except to those using Eagle Eye).

Please inform me of any errors and set your starting schticks please!

Orthodox Guard, Reflection, Gunslinger (dormant until I get an effective fire range) Will be moving ahead of the main assualt to draw fire. Can a squad of troopers follow behing me for protection?

Selenian infantry leaving cover so early in the fight sounds like a bad idea to me.

Say Xeth, what do you think of me using your distraction technique while you blast the vultures out of the sky?

I say go for it. Distracting the vultures keeps them from shooting at Selenian airspeeders.

Denzral, if you are going to use Gunslinger and move up slowly with the Selenian troopers, target the Mark II Battle Droids.

Otherwise, I think that the Jedi should all employ Dash to charge up to the battle droid forces and attack the Mark II droids. They will be the biggest problem for the Selenians right now. Killing them will reduce the danger for the Selenians (and yourselves), and moving up with draw some of the enemy fire away from the troops.

If you do that, you should all have Blade schticks in.

Ush, if they use Dash, can they get there in a turn?

-

Vera, I trust you can handle yourself here...

Orthodox Guard, Cleave, and Block are in.

Are the Selenian Special Forces sneaking in the first turn? And how far are the battle droids and tanks from th drop point? Would Vera-Kin be able to prepare a sneak attack to drop debris on the droids or damage a tank as she has done?
