USH'S STAR WARS GAME- CAMPAIGN II EPISODE IV (RENEGADES)- Battlefield

I wish to take my time. I take it that these mad dashes are accomplishing nothing but to look cool. I'll support the selenian infantry, by moving with them at their head, but I'll tackle any Mk II in range. Unless there is a more acceptable suggestion?

OR

I'll Dash in, take an excessive amount of fire, abandon the Selenian infantry, and tackle Mk IIs like they were the only viable target, tapping reflection to het the other droids.

I'm not picky.

I'll tap clive and then switch it out or whatever it was you needed to do after tapping

Mad dashes can be extremely effective but running headlong at very large amounts of people with guns is not something even a Jedi can do casually. Effort needs to be out in, schticks tapped or powers used etc.

It should also be remembered that the bad guys might go first in all turns. That is entirely random.

The Mk II's are distracted, yes?

Only in as much as they have two priority targets they are blazing away at.

Denz sighs, holstering his pistol. "Can you please shoot those droids to cover me?" He says as he DASHes in to attack the nesrest Mk II. Jumping (unless I have to do a LEAPING move specifically) over the front lined droids to land on top of an Mk II, slicing it through the middle. Denz then redirects several shots back to their source with REFLECTION tapped and then begins to dismantle droids systematically. Swapping in MARTIAL ARTIST at the end of my turn.

Advice before I do this....

No need to leap in, no.

MARTIAL ARTIST to replace REFLECTION

I'll attack a mark 2 droid and tap balanced guard and cleave.

Vlad will keep on firing at another vulture.

On the contrary, while the mad dashes are not that great for your health, they are doing much to protect the Selenian troops. The Jedi become priority targets, sparing the Selenians from being outnumbered right away. If Denzral had moved in with Kiu and Jovan, it may have actually gone better for them; the attacks would've been split between three Jedi instead of two, and Denzral could've tapped Reflection earlier to clear out targets.

While I'm not an expert with this dice system, I do have a decent idea what I'm talking about. If my advice sounds iffy, we'll discuss it. Your current move works just fine, though, and switching for Martial Artist is a good idea. 🙂

Btw, Jovan, if you want to tap Orthodox Guard, it will actually help you get more successes with which Cleave can protect you. ✅

I'm good then USH

Okay, I should've thought that through.

Could Vera-Kin perform a Defensive Leap while drawing the attention of the battle droids away from the Special Forces?

I thought I only had to tap it if I had more damage?

Tapping that Guard means that you get more successes, so that Cleave gets tapped and you take even less damage over the course of several turns. Only problem is that it lowers your defense.

I cannot promise that every enemy will fire at you D-Leaping, Vera, but all things considered it is a pretty good time for one.

We're all set then, right?

Very true. Vera-Kin will perform a Defensive Leap, hoping that the majority of the battle droids have designated her a priority target.

Tapping guard means more successes but it lowers my defence? Why is it a guard than? confused1

I think I'm confusing you...

When you tap a Guard, it gives you an additional advantage. For Orthodox Guard, that gives you +2 Parry and changes failed dice into successes on your attack. However, after that turn, it stops working, and so your defense is lower.

And then Cleave, when tapped, changes the successes you gained from kills that turn into points that keep your enemies from hitting you.
