USH'S STAR WARS GAME- CAMPAIGN II EPISODE IV (RENEGADES)- Battlefield

To answer Wentar's question about the speeders- one advantage of atmospheric craft is that they are always suitable for ground attack.

The bad guys go first this turn. I don't actually have a defensive tap instruction from Jovan, but I shall step in to do it for him one last time, as he was advised to and it is a tremendously good idea with him being surroudned so. He was actually given the advice to make his Cleave effect more powerful but folks please do not forget that bad guys sometimes attack first, like I mentioned a few posts back. A Cleave tap does bugger all to protect you until AFTER your attack so is no good if they go first.

As Kiu has tapped his Baanced Guard as well, it means that this turn the two Jedi are almost completely safe, wth Jovan taking only one damage. That's more like the Jedi style!

Vera's defensive leap keeps her safe, and only a couple of special forces are shot down by the droids due to Vera alerting them. The tank there has now turned around to face the rear assault.

With the Mark IIs distracted, the Selenian infantry performs roll with good rolling this turn! Kiu and Jovan both get their kills, and both earn six points worth of protection this turn against future Mark II fire, whilat Denz downs three droids with his Reflection tap.

In the air, it is Xeth's turn to roll badly and fail to kill, with a Speeder picking up the slack and Vlad nailing his target solidly. Wentar has a good turn, rolling six successes which is the exact amount scored against him- successful defence!

It's a Refresh turn! Kudos to Denz who swapped his tapped power out imemdiately, meaning he can recharge Reflection right away.

And Gunslinger... lol

Denzral will move in with the infantry then, swapping back in reflection and tapping it immediately. Then I'll move to the front lines and attack an Mk II? Advice?

"Come on... Just a few more." Wentar mutters, watching four more Vultures drop to the ground. I know it's pushing it but I want to distract four this round. I want to keep as many Airspeeders up as I can.
Can Vlad or Xeth get a dice bonus if they fire on the ones distracted by me? Also, I know the Starfighter can't do bombing runs, but can it draw fire from the ground units or protect the Airspeeders if they do runs?

I am afraid you cannot swap Reflection back in this turn, Denz, as you already made your swap for this turn by bringing in Martial Artist. Swaps actually happen at the start of each turn.

No, there is no bonus of that sort I am afraid. But also at this point the numbers situation kicks in; you cannot force them to gang up against you and with you now outnumbering them you cannot actually distract more than one.

Kiu will swap out balanced guard for forward guard, take out cleave, tap perfect strike, and refresh for balanced guard and cleave. I will still target Mark II droids.

Ah, in that case then I'll attack one Vulture.

Thats cool, I'll swap it in at the start of next turn.

Unfortunately, not only can you only swap one power a turn, you also need to have something swapped out before I annoucne a refresh to have it recharge.

Alright. Just swap out Balanced for Forward Guard and tap perfect strike.

Vera-Kin will refresh Block and swap it in.

While moving towards the second tank, Vera-Kin will chop down two battle droids, tapping Orthodox Guard and Cleave.

Xeth watches as he misses his target but a Selenian airspeeder picks it off. He smiles and changes to one of the few remaining targets, knowing that the vultures will not be up much longer.

"Finish them off," Xeth says into his headset to Wentar and the airspeeders. "Then we can make our passes on the valley to help out the forces on the ground."

So Denzral is refreshing Reflection and Gunslinger, then swapping Martial Artist out for Reflection, then moving in to attack Mark IIs; Kiu is swapping out Balanced Guard for Forward Guard while tapping Perfect Strike and attacking Mark IIs; Jovan will be attacking Mark IIs and should swap out one of his schticks.

Assuming Vera-Kin fixes things in the rear, this is turning out to be a crushing defeat for the Feds so far. Keep it up, guys.

Vlad will fire at another vulture.

Actually, I am changing Vera-Kin's action.

Ush, I want to attack the tank. Can Vera-Kin refresh Block and bring it in at the start of the turn?

I realized that what I want to do can be done without tapping Block because of Orthodox Guard's turning of dice into successes! I'd have to roll a bunch of 3's to not do this right...

Vera-Kin is going to attack the remaining tank, leaping onto it and cutting through the main gun before dragging her lightsaber through part of the main circuitry.

Refresh Block, tap Orthodox Guard and swap out for Block!

Bad guys go first again. But with Kiu showing his staying power in a fight, he takes just two hits off his current protection. Jovan loses all of his, but takes only three damage. Vera's Guard tap keeps her relatively safe too... and does indeed allow her to destroy that tank!

Jovan and Kiu take down a droid a-piuece, and now Denz comes in as well to take down a third.

Meanwhile in the air, the enemy Vultures are destroyed!

How are refresh turns determined?

I'll tap REFLECTION this turn and down as many droids as possible with it, while attempting an attack on another Mk II.

Xeth, you should now go and strafe the rear droid lines to help out Vera. We've pretty much got this licked, Between Denzral, Jovan and Kiu, and the Selenian assault force. So theres my two-cents.

I concur, Denzral.

As soon as the last vulture droid is blasted out of the air, Xeth immediately sets his sights on the ground battle. He requests that the airspeeders follow him on a bombing run of the droid forces, targeting the battle droids and the hailfires.

"Wentar, see if you can't help clean up the rest of the battle?" Xeth says, indicating where their fellow Jedi are fighting battle droids.

So I should tap cleave and switch it out... If I'm not mistaken.
Considering we don't care about the Selenian forces, how about we hurl some corpses to the droids? 😛

How about we don't? 😛

Now that the tanks are done, Vera-Kin throws herself into the battle droids, killing two with her agile fighting style.

Swap in Balanced Guard, tap it.

Oh, and Xeth himself is going to target a hailfire.
