USH'S STAR WARS GAME- CAMPAIGN II EPISODE IV (RENEGADES)- Battlefield

Unfortunately his army looks so uniform that it is hard to tell. But his set-up is rpe-arranged so he doesn't get to act on yuors either (else we would be ehre all day as you changed in reaction to each other forever).

Air support can shift the odds of a battle.

And indeed artillery units work from the rear, yes. Word of warning though- supported by Hailfires, the Feds have that too.

Mentioning the Hailfires, is Xeth able to discern the Strength of the opposing units, as well as their other bonuses? Or will he be operating on assumption?

I'm beginning to think we should be attacking the BV-50 in groups of two.

so no guard for me, just retreating to the south with a forcepoint on evade. Might in the end return with one forcepoint to attack but then I'm all out

Guard is always functioning unless you tap it, so you still have your Guard. I actually wouldn't spend the point on Evade, though; just stick with Wentar and he can Bodyguard you.

Aye! If Jovan is moving south with me I'll definitely put bodyguard on him.

Do rememebr that Bodyguard only gives someone the same defence that you have.

Defensive Leap would interfere with Bodyguard if I move south at the same time?

Unless he does it as well, you wouldn't be next to him to Bodyguard!

I'll follow craft and spend a force point if needed

Alright... Well I'll focus my guard on the BV-50 as I move away, no defensive leap, bodyguard on Jovan as he moves with me.

Looking for input from someone here, should I tap the Bodyguard?

Not yet. It'd be somewhat ridiculous because you have Defensive Leap and your standard Guard going for a Defense of 7, and since Jovan is moving with you he gets the same.

Which reminds me, Jovan, don't waist your Force point on Evade this turn.

Ok, I'll update tomrrow, after which I will likely speed up rather than waiting for all to post.

ok, no evade then 😛

Ok, that is all the time I can give!

I'll blow Vlad's extra action to move out of there. So the party splits and moves away!

At this point, the BV-50 hovers upwards, out of sabre (and also disruptor) reach from the walkway. The small arm unfurls from its base again, and the cutting laser slices at Denz! He gets away with a bad roll though, only taking 9 damage.

Refresh round!

I'll use another point on strike

I think we should attack in pairs to restrict that disruptor. It'll leave a few Jedi twiddling their thumbs a few turns, but might also result in less death. Not sure who should move up and attack at this point though...

Denzral, you are not in position to attack. Can they make an Agility roll to leap up at the BV-50 to attack?

I believe I should set about arranging my forces, then. Anything else I need to know before I start doing that, Ush? Otherwise I'll set right to it.

I think that's it! You do not know their troops strengths I am afraid, but you can make logical deductions based on your forces. Selenian Infantry is better than a Battle Droid unitm foe example, though expect them to have lots.

-

Well, the Jedi had best get a plan together! Remember it was a refresh round.

Unfortunately, even if you did leap up, you cannot attack mid-move without Charge.

So let's do this. Going to mark the forward and reserve sections with F and R for simplicity.

Far Left (F)- Strength 100
Selenian Infantry x1
Dorgonath Assault Troops x1 Charge
Kaldan Beastmasters x1 Anti-Infantry
Selenian Foresters x1 Ambush

Far Left (R)- Strength 20
Selenian Reserves x1

Near Left (F)- Strength 105
Selenian Infantry x1
Dorgonath Assault Troops x1 Charge
Armored Speeders x1 Fast, Charge, Anti-Armor
Gothan Militia x1

Near Left (R)- Strength 65
Mounted Riflemen x1 Fast
Light Artillery x1 Bombard
Gothan Militia x1

Center (F)- Strength 140
Selenian Infantry x1
Dorgonath Assault Troops x1 Charge
Dorgonath Battle Crawlers x2 Armor, Slow

Center (R)- Strength 70
Selenian Infantry x1
Selenian Reserves x1
Kaldan Beastmasters x1 Anti-Infantry

Near Right (F)- Strength 105
Selenian Infantry x1
Dorgonath Assault Troops x1 Charge
Armored Speeders x1 Fast, Charge, Anti-Armor
Gothan Militia x1

Near Right (R)- Strength 65
Mounted Riflemen x1 Fast
Light Artillery x1 Bombard
Gothan Militia x1

Far Right (F)- Strength 110
Selenian Infantry x1
Dorgonath Assault Troops x1 Charge
Selenian SWAT Forces x1 Fragile
Kaldan Beastmasters x1 Anti-Infantry

Far Right (R)- Strength 20
Selenian Reserves x1

I think that does it. Are the Selenians or Elerians providing air cover at all? I didn't see if that was answered.
