Well, I am short on actions, but time is passing by. I'll have to hold Kiu's.

You guys open fire! Vlad fires at two different targets (cannot be the eame one I am afraid) with his rifle; he destroys one STAP, sending it spinning out of control into a tree, and damages another.

Denz then fires... but Denz isn't a great shot due to his lower Dexterity, and using a gun against an armoured target is not his strong point. His Gunslinger gives him a convert, but he only wings one.

Then the mass of STAP fire back! I have five attackers on each of you, and they will blow your cover apart this turn. They roll well against Vlad, but he avoids the worst of it with a combination of his now-destroyed cover and Eye of the Storm. Denz lucks out well and is only hit a little. They roll like crap against Kiu also! About as well as it could have gone, that.

Start of turn is when you give me swaps and weapon changes. Rememebr you do not know who gets initiative.

I'll swap in Reflection and swap out Gunslinger, and swap to my sabre. I'll then attack a STAP whilst moving to new cover.

How exactly does this lightsabre defense work? By how many points more is your defense with a lightsabre than it is, say, unarmed?

Regardless of that, Vlad will move to new cover an take one shot at the damaged STAP and at another one.

Nothing by default. It is simply that sabre schticks are defesnivley powerful.

I'll use my saber, balanced guard, perfect strike, and bodyguard. I'll attack the nearest STAP for both turns.

Here is an update of the first turn! As it turns out, Kiu was not in cover, but for simplicity I'll say he took the same damage, protected by his Guard. He jumps out at a STAP and cuts it down!

Btw, although I know circumstances can change, always feel free to leave multiple moves so I can update faster.

You do well by having initiative for turn 2. And in a blitz of rolling, Kiu and Denz down one a piece, and Vlad drops one and kills one he damaged before! Sensible targeting there.

Denz scores a Reflection as the STAPS return fire, destroying another!

Vlad will keep on moving over to new cover and he will once again shoot at the damaged STAP and then at another undamaged one.

I'll attack another STAP, and move to another piece of cover.

If the STAPs get initiative, they'll hit you outside of cover, just to remind people.

I should already be in cover. I would be moving to another piece of cover after I attack a STAP. Right...?

You need Charge to do that. Normally you move then attack and that ends your move. Charge lets you move and attack in whatever order.

Point is, your cover is being shot away when they fire. If they then fire again before you move, then you have no cover! And indeed yes, yuio can only move after firing with Charge, though that is less of an issue with ranged weaponry.

This was a Refresh round- no-one affected, I am afraid.

And they have initiative! Three attackers each. Vlad gets hammered a bit, but Kiu is lasting well!

Just the one kill from Vlad this turn, and a kill a piece from the others...
