Yes sir, Mr. Gamemaster. Put us in at the Center.

2 problems:

1) will I get a lot of damage? I can handle 30 at most, then I'm dead... if you think I can make it, I'll join in

2) I have an exam on thursday & saturday so from wednesday onwards I can't go online... time enough to finish this turn or not?

Its a fight atop a battlecrawler! The lead Dorgonath crawler has plunged into the enemy lines but its motor unit has taken a hit and is stuck. Bad guys are climbing onto it to enter it from the top hatches, and they ascent was just successful! You guys have raced over and climbed up yourselves to help. Keep them out the hatches for five turns until it gets started again. STAPs are buzzing around t high level to take potshots at you as well- they are not in sabre range!

Heh, why'd Charge get nerfed?

I'll have my targeting blaster out, as well as Balanced Guard, Eye of the Storm, and Carnival of Carnage.

Vlad will also be standing at the starboard hatch, and shoot at two incoming battle droids.

Vera-Kin will have Balanced Guard, Cleave, and Block in, all active. She positions herself in the port hatch.

"Take down those STAPs!" she says before plunging into a pair of battle droids.

Vlad, maybe you should focus on the STAPs since you're the best shot here?

Hmmm I think i'll attack the STAPs twice this turn, then tap carnival of carnage so hopefully one group of then will be down and then finish off the droids.

So Vlad will shoot at two STAPs.

Actually, I want to give more complex orders to the Dorgonath troops using Leadership and Presence. She wants two groups of troopers to concentrate their firepower on the STAPs and the other two to exchange lasers with two battle droid groups.

Vera-Kin herself is going to start attacking the foremost group of battle droids in an attempt to drag their advance on the portside hatch to a halt.

Just to make sure, all these orders are only going to troops at the port hatch. Vlad can do as he pleases with his!

I'll just nicely ask my troops to concentrate their fire on the cultists 😛

Ok, here we go! Initiative goes to you.

Vlad opens fire on the STAPs. He downs one and heavily hits another. Vera plunges into a group of enemy droids... but on a lower pool, she only kills the one.

The droids hold their position and spend a turn exchanging fire with the Dorgonath, as the STAPs harrass the assault troops from the sides. VEra's roll succeeds and she directlys fire accordingly.

Vera has four droids and a STAP firing at her, whilst Vlad gets shot at by five droids. Vera is in fact hit four times, for... four damage. VLad is hit twice, but for seven.

Vera's Dorgonath do not roll well, and they get the worst of the firefight. The STAPs roll well against them as well, with their heavier guns needing onkly two successes for a kill, and there are heavy losses. Vlad's men do not roll as well as they might against the Cultists, either.

Oh man, I'm going to go ahead and fire at two STAPs again.

Vera-Kin is going to swap Balanced Guard for Orthodox Guard!

"Concentrate your fire on a smaller group, wipe them out!" Vera-Kin orders, directing her dwindling Dorgonath troops to fire on a group of four battle droids while she herself takes on a separate group of four, trying to cut them down before they inflict harm on her soldiers.

Are the STAPs in jumping distance?

Scratch that, Vera-Kin is going to go after the group of five battle droids, in order to draw more shooters to her and spare the Dorgonath.

That's the spirit! And getting initiative has helped.

Jumping distance doesn't help you much, Vera, as you cannot attack mid-move without Charge.

Vlad blows down the damaged STAP and a fresh one. Vera gets two kills, courtesy of an upgraded '1' from Orthdox Guard!

You guys take some damage back from return fire, of course- and now the forces are moving in... and with supporting fire from the STAPs, Vera has almost no-one left in her area! In fact, not many left with Vlad, either...

Vlad will tap Carnival of Carnage to shoot at two STAPs and two cultists.

Unfortunately, CC fire has to be in the same general area; those targets are in opposite directions.

Erghh, then Vlad will still tap CC and target the group of four Cultists.

"Assist me!" Vera-Kin shouts, jumping into the group of four battle droids to cut a pair of them down and hoping that the Dorgonath would finish off the rest in that group with concentrated fire.

Vlad, I'm thinking that once I finish my battle droids I will run over to starboard to help you with the Cultists. Then we should focus on finishing off the STAPs.
