The generator detonates, sending out a flashily computer generated energy wave that your ship sturggles to thrust away from. The edge of the blast catches the ship, sending it tumbling; time for Kiu to make his Pilot roll...

Shield disruption detected. Federation fleet is in firing position. 30 seconds beforw shield stabilises.

The part of the planet the fleet is over represented on the command table has been coloured green; now it turns red as the hazard registers.

There's a certain amount of panic.

Well going by what has happened in the seies of events, the Federation must have a plan, I don't think it is the will of the Force that we stop the invasion. So far, trying may be in vein.

The bombardment last no more than ten seconds, which is the rouugh period for which the shield was not fully functional. It then stabilises itself.

At the control room, considerable panic still reigns as people try to work out what is going on.

"There had to be a reason they picked that generator," Xeth says. "Minas, what nation owned that generator? And what important things are in that area?"

It's off the Selenian mainland.

Afraid not.

"Landmarks, government buildings, military bases, control centers for the defense network, that sort of thing," Xeth says.

Vlad will comm Xeth and ask for the nearest generator in the area. The BV-50 probably headed for that one.

Is the fleet reestablishing itself in another position?

It's a rural area; the only thing of major significance that couldn't be found elsewhere was the generator.

No, the fleet is holding steady.

I meant whats the nearest nation that holds a generator? The BV-50 would probably head towards the nearest one.

You have several choices; the generators are evenly spread.

"That's... almost silly," Xeth says. "Why fire on a rural area?"
