perhaps it gives them a room to land their crafts?

Target data is coming in.

Target was- the ground-based orbital defences in the general area.

Damn. Good job Jovan.

What's the nearest area other than where we are now they could land and what generator controls the shield above it?

thanks but what the **** did I do? 😕

I think he was saying you had a damn good guess.

With those landing craft they can land anywhere where there is open countryside.

Is there some sort of suirvellance system at all on the planet? We really need to try and find out where the BV-50 is heading right now.

It's too small to show on wide scanners, so it's really not practical to tracks it on cameras unless you know where it is, surveillance or otherwise.

Moving on to find the BV-50 was something to possibly do, if you can work out where to go. But time is still passing!

And indeed, enough time has passed now that it is on to its next target/ In the increasingly panicked command centre, reports are coming in that another defence installation in the area is being attacked.

so basicly we have to make a choice between going to the next BV-50 target or to find the landing place so we can slow down the invasion?

Starting to look like that neither is practical. Kiu is picking up signals on his radar- enemy fighters are starting to enter the area.

The command table is now tracking the landing craft moving into atmosphere; the invasion is beginning.

Told you guys that we can't do anything but sit back and see what happens, and since (this planet) is not part of the Republic, we have no obligation to defend it. However as Jedi we should by all means try... "I just think our current actions will come of no use. Nor will trying to halt the invasion force. Obviously the Trade Federation expected us to be here as the BV-50 left traps for us, specifically. No one else could have been expected to give chase after the droid destroyer."

I disagree with you. As our loyalty lies with the senate, we have no jurisdiction here. BUT our loyalty also lies with democracy and this is a clear case where an independent planet is being violantly invaded with malicious purposes thus our job is to protect the innocent and serve justice by halting the invasion. Though our first objective should be to stop the invasion and to start negotiations between the two sides (thus not killing off the invaders)

There is also- though unproven- Xeth's allegation that the Union and the Feds seek to be building new droid armies outside of Republican jurisdiction to use them in ways similar to how they did on Naboo.

Which would mean that it could pose a threat to the Republic, and hence must be stopped.

Xeth heavily sighs in disappointment. He knows that the Jedi could not have stopped the BV-50 in time; it had the advantage of being able to bypass scanners and take them by surprise.

"Here they come," Xeth says, eyeing the scanner. He turns to Minas.

"Colonel, you have to get us on good terms with the Marshall," Xeth says. "We can help, and he needs us right now. My Jedi companions are not going to be able to save the next generator and the invasion is beginning. He can use our leadership skills and our talents in battle."

Minas doesn't think the generators are an issue- there are going to be small armies around each one now. The BV-50 won't get another chance like that.

You now have two dozen vulture droid fighters on youe scanners, Kiu! This area is starting to swarm with them.

The droid obviously expected Jedi, they must know we are here... perhaps we an arrange something with the Fed's. I doubt any army (this planet) has will be able to stop as many battle droids the opposing ships contains. We should have the authority to get the Republican Guard to send a fleet to (this (name?) planet) as least some support. Does anyone have a senate contact handy?

You mean the Senatorial Guard? They are just bodygaurds for the Senators and only go where the Senators go on internal matters. The Republic has no standing force of its own except you guys.

Evem if there was, you'd need a vote in the Senate for intervention which you won't get- they wouldn't even do that when the Feds invaded Naboo!

Not very good, now we need to come up with a strategy for stopping the invasion...

Could Vlad get a rough estimate how many planetary forces there are and how many forces the invasion unit has?

No, because you are on the transport and not in a position to observe anything on a wide scale.
