well, again cleave and orthodox guard I take?

Still in hiding is my mistake.

But having taken advice from others and tapped those powers, they are no longer functioning.

Damn, I totally forgot! Okay, just refresh Orthodox Guard, swap out Balanced Guard and bring in Orthodox and tap it against the Cultists as Vera-Kin attacks just one of them.

so now I'm all alone without powers?

You are actually doing fine, Jovan. Cleave has given you ten points of ignoring Cultist successes, so they can't hit you until that has expired.

Xeth grins at having destroyed one of the droid starfighters and goes for another, ignoring the blinking light that says the shields are dropping rapidly from direct hits.

So, just gfoing for a kill Jovan?

And I'll be nice and let you refresh Cleave, Vera... this time...

Oh! Thank you, Ush. Vera-Kin will refresh Orthodox Guard and Cleave, then, swap Balanced out for Orthodox, tap Orthodox Guard in an attack on two Cultists.

Vera hacks down two mroe Cultists. Unable to bypass her defences, on turn 6 she will take down the final two and end her combat- well done, you have killed that group and in reasonable time too, leaving you time to still act on the situation.

Jovan kills another; his remaining enemies roll five successes between them, which we ignore.

Xeth downs another enemy, as parts of his cockpit start to catch fire...

Afraid not! A random factor dictates when yuo grt to refresh two powers (which you muist have 'swapped out' from yuor character as it were, for other powers if you have alternatives, for nothing at all if not), but on average a refresh comes every five turns or so. It is rare to get more than two in a fight, though theoretically possible to get lots.

Okay, this REALLY isn't working. What about hiding the ship?

Woooo! KMC finally let me on without an error message. I'll refresh reflection, bring that in in place of gunslinger, swap my gun for my lightsabre again, then run to the nearest entrenchment of droids, tapping reflection along the way. If Wentar can make another swoop to take out a tank that'll help, and if the Selenians manage to take out the other then we might just stand a fighting chance. I won't lose those guns!

Wentat comes down on the droidsm, though again as they are in cover his attack is not as effective as in open ground.#

Sean runs like heck to fresh cover! His reflection tap brings down another three droids, though he takes another hit.

But another error- Wentar has not finished destroying his tank target. Although the field gun fires and destroys one of them, the other tank now has that gun in its sights, and a single shot blows it away.

Never leave a job like that unfinished! That tank was easy prey for Wentar and destroying it was far more critical than a handful of droid targets. Xeth, you should have caught that...

And now coming forwards are another two tanks and another 25 droids...

On the brighter side, Jovan cuts down the two remaining Cultist foes witrhout taking any damage!

Xeth... err, no. Battle is joined, too late for anything like that now, even if I could think of any way in whic you could do it.

That's not something I am tracking. The scenario is simply won/lost on whether you can destroy the hailfires.
