I wouldn't bring up Bounties either, but I doubt anyone on this planet will be able to take Briande if our Mysterious Lady needs to send 10 Dark Jedi to get him.

Either way, we should go to a bar and ask around.

Rand agrees with all this, but he suggests that those of us who are not socially inept be the ones that ask around for information concerning Briande while others just stand around and look intimidating.

Rand also does not think we should bring up bounties. Either people will want to nab Briande to get the bounty themselves or they will think we have the money to pay them for his capture. This is something we must do ourselves.

And lastly, Rand keeps the curiosity of the sensor-repelling area in mind.

Psssh. On this planet? I doubt your usual persuasive ways would get anywhere, as Gallador has already shown...fancy words aren't going to mean a damn thing, however a subtle threat in the proper place might.

This strikes me as being so much more our element than yours 😛

Seriously. I got a feelin' a good ol' fashioned bar brawl will get a-plenty done 'round here.

People are people, even on a world so backwards as this one. The day that Rand finds that he cannot handle the social aspect of his personal power is the day that Rand dies.

Which hopefully will not be too soon.

...Who's fine with that? *raises hand*

Can I help?

Also, I'd think a nice fight would help a huge amount with Rianna's current mood...

Rand could care less.

Most people could care less about dying.

But if you mean Rand couldn't care less about dying, well, he should have told the Brigade earlier!

And Rianna couldn't care less that Rand wants us to simply stand around and look intimidating. Use the Epireans for that.

Brigade members who re-arrange Rand's words will be the first to go.

You're welcome to try, tin man...

Shut up, Rand...

Gallador sighs.

"I think that bying people drinks usually works for bar reckon. And I quite certain we are going to look intimidating, but what if they fear too threatened and alll attack us? Of course, we may well be able to take this entire town, but why make too much mess?"

What about we try it the social way first, and if that fails (or if it doesn't) you guys can have a bar room brawl? Sound fair?

Ok, you guys strill in! The bar-room doors are old west saloon style, though they operate aurtomatically (ooooh the tech!).

Inside this very large bar is a Mos Eisley-esque variety of people and aliens indulging in all manners of vice; drinking, smoking and so on; the bar is at the far side of the room and takes up most of the wall, small aliens scmaper around, large ones stomp aroumd, and there is loud music playing from a band.

All of which stops and goes silent as you guys walk in. Everyone turns to look at you.

Con walks up to the Barkeeper. He orders a non alcoholic drink for himself and casually asks him "Say, my good man, where can one find a good source of information on here".

You are stopped from walking halfway across by an enormous grey-skinned alien carrying a gun almost as big as he is, wo stands and takes one step (covering a lot of ground) to get in your way.

Con looks up at the enormous being and says "Hello, there. My name is Con Gordo, it is nice to make your acquaintance. Do you think it would be possible to let me order a drink?"

"Mu shaaa ka toooya!" he says, aggresively, spitting slightly in your face.

Looking rather small on his enormous jacket is a golden badge depiting a star.

Do I know anything about the star? And do I know what he said? Was that bastardized Basic or some alien tongue?
