USH'S STAR WARS GAME- CAMPAIGN II EPISODE IV (DARK SIDE)- Destiny

Started by Newjak137 pages

Xavier will activate his lightsabers and he will begin this fight using the Blade Shticks: Focused Guard, and Perfect Strike

He will also be using the Force Stick: Leaping.

So for his first action he will attempt to leap over the blast from the Heavy weapon and attack the big alien.

Edi: Check that instead of using Focused Guard, Xavier will be using the Force Shtick Swiftness.

Gallador only has Orthodox Guard and Cleave schticks, and will use them, and only power useful in fight is Staredown. He will use Cleave on nearby Mooks.

Dodge and Weave, Forward Guard, and Cleave for Rianna at the moment.

I am not sure you can mix Combat schticks with Lightsaber ones.

I think you can, but you can only have three Schticks active at a time and some conflict with each other. Not Combat ones though, I think.

Hmm... it seems that you can mix only defensive ones, though, because for example you cannot use the offensive combat ones with Lightsaber.

Haiving a schtick active (and in use) disallows the use of other forms of attack, so you can mix Lightsabre and Combat schticks but if you try and use them at the same time you won't be attacking that turn.

The main use of mixing them is to quickly shift between attack modes, voluntarily not using a scthick you have in as you wish. So if you have, say, Block and Eye of the Storm, it could be on the idea that when attacking with your lightsabre you use Block, when using your guns you use Eye of the Storm. And so on.

(Why not just switch in the one as appropriate? Well, your third slot might already be doing that, switching as needed between, say, Forward Guard and Carnival of Carnage).

If you want to keep things simple, just use one type at a time though. If you are feeling fancy and like to stay flexible, the option is there to mix types so long as you do not attempt tp use two different types of schtick in the same turn.

Looking at Rianna's choice, she should change that.

When all the thugs upholding the law rise with their blasters drawn, Galder merely throws himself sideways to avoid the deadly explosion that will come from the heavy gun that the lead deputy is toting. As he comes up from his tumble, Galder snaps his lightsaber off of his belt. He fingers the activation matrix and the green blade hisses to life.

"Big mistake, fellas," Galder says to the small army of deputies.

(Forward Guard, Cleave, Block)

Dak flips in the opposite direction of Galder to dodge the heavy gun, his sabers ejecting and snapping to life as he does.

"You guys won't regret it long, though..." Dak adds.

(Balanced Guard, Cleave, Charge)

Rand swiftly and calmly draws his lightsaber. At first he considers wrenching the heavy weapon from the behemoth's grip, but decides that the immense muscular build of him may be able to resist it.

Rand settles for moving out of the way of the heavy weapon.

He will use Orthodox Guard, Cleave, and Ricochet.

Relle moves out of the way of the heavy fire, still keeping her eyes on the gentleman wearing the over-sized Texan hat. She activates her lightsaber and goes for the nearest 'deputy' around her. (Forward Gurad, Cleave, Unbreakable)

Well the idea was that way I'd be able to have a defense going without having to swap what I was going to use a certain turn, but okay...swap Dodge and Weave for Orthodox Guard.

Oh, and Rand, what was that you said about the day that Rand would be unable to handle the social aspect of something? 😛)

To be fair, Gallador and I didn't give him a chance.

Well that hardly matters, we know it wouldn't have gone any better than your attempts...😛

You convinced me. I think some major Harakiri is in order.

After this fight though.

I'm glad you would do such a thing for poor Rand. You truly are a good guy 😛

Well, Gallador wanted to talk with the deputy`s superior, but he was not allowed to.

Still, if this is not a big town we can well overcome its defences, like the bandits in western movies.

Tanic moves left, diving away from the heavy weapon. His lightsabre flies into his hand as he rolls, and, standing straight, he cuts down the nearest deputy.

Do we mix in Force Powers as schticks too, then? Orthodox Guard, Reflection, and and Combat Push.

I don`t think we use Force Powers as schticks, Tanic, they are always availible, but costly.

Ah, okay.

Orthodox Guard, Block, and Reflection, then. Xavier might want to have another look at his schticks, in that case.
