USH'S STAR WARS GAME- CAMPAIGN II EPISODE IV (DARK SIDE)- Destiny

Started by Ushgarak137 pages

Notations work as follows:

For you players it is

Name (Attack Pool/Force remaining): Close Defence/Ranged Defence/Current damage (Schticks loaded). If you have Armour or Parry it will be noted in brackets with your Defence.

So, if you like, it is your offensive situation in the brackets, then your defensive situation, then your schticks.

Tapped schticks will be in italics

Named or otherwise important enemies go by a similar system (substituting Fortune for Force if they are not force users) but you don't normally see what schticks they have going.

Mooks are written like this:

Name of mook x number of identical mook in same area/Successes needed to kill

So, this:

Battle Droids x6/3

Means six battle droids are there, all of which need three successes on an attack roll to kill.

Remember mooks do not take damage, only more important targets do. To kill Mooks you just needed successes on your dice roll

I have split the bar into six locations for this fight; I can improvise more than need be.

You have the entrance area, the central area leading up to the bar. You then have the two sides, where there are staircases, and both of those staircases lead up to upper balconies, which overlook the area with a good field of fire for gunmen.

The various deputies act as named characters though only the giant alien is a full powered one. Their buddies are standard strength Mooks like your average... man with a gun.

The combat starts as Con dives out of the way of the giant's first blast, which races past him and into the entrance! The doors- and a chunk of wall surrounding them- are blown to pieces. Con bgets up again pretty quick and you are all free to go!

None of them have any Fortune. Most of them are wielding sidearms, except giant alien with his big gun of doom, and Sniper and Sneaky who have high-powered rifles. Nearly all of them, being wild west stand-and-fire types, have Eye of the Storm; most the deputies have one other Gun schtick

Arbitrarily I have deicded that anyone who was really involved in the macho-em-up of all that wlaked a bit forwards into the central area, the rest of you hung around menacingly near the entrance.

Please fill in any blanks, and post your first action! As a gift, I shall give you initiative, so you move before they do.

Whoops sorry Ush I ended up changing my pay load to Balanced Guard, Perfect Strike, and Cleave once I learned force powers don't have to be a part of your active Shticks.

Xavier quickly attacks the Big alien.

Xavier thrusts forward with his left hand, then doing another quick thrust with his right, and finally bring his his body around bringing his left overhead for a swipe at the Aliens head.

Would Leaping be enough to get up onto a balcony while skipping the stairs?

Hm, I think we should get stairs quickly, in order to get rid of these gunmen. Loudmouthed deputy is the one that talked with Gallador? I want to kill him. Pity that hatred is no longer force power.

It would sacrifice action to jump to the one of staircase sides?

We may see Emotions back some time.

(Warning! Not a guarantee!)

And yes, Loudmouth is the one that did the talking.

And indeed yes, a jump liker that would be your whole action, and unless you blow Master Leap you have to be under it as well; I'd allow an attack with it if you have Charge.

😆 Dude, we're already on it. Leave the battle plans to the battle lovers. *pats head*

I meant getting to bottom of right staircase, Ush.

Oh, that's easier, you could run over and attack one of them.

Thanks, Xavier...

What about using Dash to run over quick enough to maybe get the Jump in on the same turn?

I don't have Charge, and don't want to have to waste a turn if possible...

Blow a Force point on dash and I will allow that, yes.

Excellent.

Rianna will Dash over to the right balcony (using a Force point), and leap up onto the balcony itself.

And I think I would like to have Coordination active right now, as well.

I should point out that in a hostile environment of laser bolts, tables, chairs and people, it will be an Agility roll to safely Dash that, ok?

Co-ordination noted.

Dak Dashes left, slashing at one of Giant Alien's friends as he rushes past, then Jumps up to the Left Balcony.

Blow a Force point on Dash.

Agility roll warning noted and valiantly laughed at.

Asking me with the maxed-out Agility if I am okay with a roll on that? Yes, that's fine.

Is Dak happy with the Agility roll?

EDIT- gotcha, thanks.

Hey, people, be careful about blowing force points, because they to do not get restored normally during Episodes! I would say one or two or beginning fight is a max. By the way, shouldn`t the powers like Twirl be a bit stronger that deviding your pool? They seem not good compared to blade schticks, and cost force points.

Since others are doing fancy moves, Gallador will cleave at the giant`s alien friends, making wide horizontal slashes with his purple lightsaber.

We know what we're doing, okay? 😛

We barely use the Force, never for anything outside of combat, and frankly this looks damn cool.

Twirl and its types are lethal. Combine them with, say, a Forward Guard tap and you turn into a slaughterhouse.

You do not need many successes! So long as you hit you have a decent effect.
