USH'S STAR WARS GAME- CAMPAIGN II EPISODE IV (DARK SIDE)- Destiny

So Ush, if that Deputy took Gallador`s offer, Gallador will tell Epireans to tie him up and maybe take him to the ship if he is too injured to be useful now as he can heal there. Then he will join others with the Marshall.

He is, basically, completely useless now, Gallador. I doubt the others want him on any of the ships.

Well, he is lower tier named character so he can make a useful lackey if treated properly, was my reasoning. One of the first recruits to our future Empire.

Besides Gallador will argue it is his prisoner, logic even the likes of Galder should get.

"We are looking for someone," Galder says, quite flattered that this Zorin had heard of him. "And I take it my reputation precedes me."

And whose ship are you intending to put him on? Kill him or let him live, but you're not taking random prisoners.

Dak's not having scum sitting on his ship, tied up or no.

"Oh, well, hasn't everyone heard of you?" says Zorin. "Well, everyone smart, anyway. So. You're looking for someone. We get that a lot, What kind of person are you looking for?"

"Good answer," Galder says. "The man is a thief. Our source says he came through here, might still be on the planet."

"A thief, known as Briande. We know he is here." Responds Gallador.

We didn`t get any description from the Lady?

I don't believe so. Probably a reason for that.

Hm, and why people are so hostile to my attempts to recruit followers? We rarely have any chance.

“You boys are looking for a thief? Hell, that could have been anyone around here once.

“This is the richest planet in the sector, in the quadrant. Maybe even in the Galaxy! What thief wouldn’t want to be here? We had all sorts. Thieves, smugglers, merchants, hunters, miners, profiteers, managers, robots. Especially the robots.

“That was all a long time ago now. Now it’s just what you see. So I got a society here that is built on the remnants of the profiteers, miners, hunters, merchants, smugglers and thieves that got left behind. No-one in their right mind comes to Gondekorro any more. Which is to say, quite a lot of people still do."

He rubs his star briefly.

“Yes siree, that’s what I gotta take care of. And you want to look for a thief? Amongst this lot? Criminal scum, all of them."

The front of the bar across the street caves in.

"Ah, don't worry about that. Except for undertaking, re-building the bar is the biggest business around here."

"We weren't going to. So, have any people come through that left an impression lately, besides us?"

Xavier looks to the loudmouth.

"This man like his fellow upstairs is useless.... Kill him."

Xavier says to Galador

"No, not really. What makes you think he is here? He take something you got? There a bounty on him? We've got lots of those," he says, indicating a section of wall and nearby filing cabinet where there are lots of officially sanctioned bounty notices. "I mean, probably the most common type we get turning up here are wanted types who have come here because they'vbe heard the rumour that no bounty hunter is dumb enough to chase them into the desert. Of course, that normally means they haven't heard the other half of the rumour."

It seems that Gallador has completely broken that ex-Deputy's mind. He will be of no use to anyone, especially not us, perhaps not even himself.

Rand was disappointed that the Ugly Deputy had nothing to offer him, despite squealing for mercy, and so had squeezed the life out of him until he was satisfied, then simply dropped the repulsive man onto Dak's lightsabers, skewering him through the chest.

Rand eyes the golden star that indicates Zorin's status as the effective ruler of this small town on Gondekorro. He says little until the group has crowded into the office of the Marshall of Gondekorro.

After Galder reveals their motives, Rand nods.

"Finding Briande is of extreme importance to us," Rand says. "And I think you can understand that quite well. Your Deputies were idiotic fools, Marshall. But you, Zorin, I can sense that you are not so blind. You have witnessed what we are capable of, and Galder's reputation needs no further explanation. You did not try to aid your underlings, which marks you as a man of intelligence. You know how to deal with people like us, dangerous criminals.

"I admire that in a personality. As such, I am willing to cut you a deal, just to make this more worthwhile. We have deprived you of your Deputies, who I am sure you used to carry out your will. Because you no longer have them... perhaps we could be of service to you, briefly, if there something need be done immediately? Keep in mind that our time is short and that finding our man is most important of all."

"What would that rumour be? And we just know he is here. He must have come here within the last two weeks. And he likely is still here. How would we find that man? Is there anyone that can tell us about transports that arrived recently?

"Well now... who asks whom the questions depends on how much you need my help, doesn't it? Your slightly metallic colleague here seems to have a different idea of things..."

"Yeah, well, my metallic friend is a bit of a heads approach man. My other friend, Galder here though, well, he doesn't like to be bossed around. And neither do I. Just tell us what we want to know and we won't be trouble."

And Rand, please only offer your services in the future 😛

"Or we could appease our friend the Marshall here," Rand says. "I do not see how threatening him will help us. We do not need to impose upon him the importance of not crossing us. Right, Zorin?"
