USH'S STAR WARS GAME- CAMPAIGN II EPISODE IV (DARK SIDE)- Destiny

Started by Ushgarak137 pages

Ok, assuming all those who have not said otherwise are heading in towards the other droid, except for Relle with whom I shall repeat her previous firing action.

Relle and Con blaze away, though lacking Eagle Eye you are disappointed with your effect, Con.

Xavier, Galder and Gallador hack away! Galder makes a magnificent slash but actually the final effect is not quite as devastating as he may have liked- regardless, it is a solid blow.

Big robot fires back! This time it is Rand who deflects one if the incoming rockets, whilst once more the next one misses (due to the use of Co-ordination in fact). Galder's Balanced Guard does him favourd!

Though disappointed with the outcome of his shooting, Con realizes that it would be of little use for him to try to reach the second droid. Accepting this situation he continues firing at the metallic enemy. (Tap Gunslinger)

Relentlessly assaulting the many legs of the droid as he attempts to topple the machine, Galder lashes out at any limb that comes within reach, his lightsabers burning through the metal but not quite tearing them apart.

(tap Block, tap Balanced Guard)

Dak will continue running toward the droid, using Co-ordination as necessary if the droid fires at him.

I gotta say, at this point it's a done deal. These droids always attack last and they can take eighty damage. I don't know who actually claims the kill for the second droid, as you guys massacre it.

Gallador slashes furiously in all-out assault, tapping his Orthodox Guard.

Wooohoo.....GO TEAM EVIL!!!!

Nono, it's Team Alternate System of Morality.

Whilst the person who dealt the last blow is unclear, the one who deals the blows afterwards is very clear indeed.

The robot collapses in a pile of debris and rising dust, but still two sabres slash away and away at its destrtoyed form.

Galder hasn't stopped.

Con puts away his gun and walks over to the second droid. He sees the sabres flying through the air and starts yelling "Galder. GALDER! My friend, I believe this one is dead in every important sense of the word." and directing his voice at all "Also, I think we have more pressing problems now. If I count correctly...we have one 4-man speeder left. Any ideas?"

How about that. Can we repair either of the others. Or are they still useable? And how many people can at most go into one?

No, they are totalled.

And with people riding on the structure you may fit six or seven. So it looks like you are going to have to proceed at running pace with people taking turns on foot now.

This is not going to improve Galder's temper.

Well, lets harvest the droids for equipment at least.

Who is going to be working on that?

Xavier, Tanic, Galder and me, I'd assume. Fix-it being the relevant skill?

Indeedy.

Galder, however, is unavailable.

We should probably stop him.

Con standing next to Galder continues trying to talk sense into him "GALDER. We need the droids parts. Don't destroy anything useful! We need to get going."

Except for that I guess we other three should get going on finding the relevant parts.

When Galder has finished on the parts of the droid he is massacring, he breaks off and starts to hack the nearest jagged rock to pieces as well.

What are you doing here, Galder? On this back end useless forgotten world, working for some jumped up witch who destroyed your sabre and now expects you to be at her beck and call, doing her dirty work looking for someone you don't care about, not even letting you know what it is or precisely where and how he had hidden himself- and yeah., you don't bellieve for one moment that she didn't know about this place.

Why is everyone else just going along with it? Why weren't you plotting about how to kill her as soon as she was out of sight? Why are their no plans, no contingencies? What is the so-called smart brigade doing? Isn't it what they are for? Where IS the plan to deal with her? Are they working FOR her? Have they already gone onto her side, just like that?

Amd now, forced to take the subservient title of 'deputy' to some nobody, you are in this gods-forsaken wilderness of endless pointy rocks menaced by giant droids, which you assume there are rather a lot more of, and NOW some of you are going to have to walk, and who are the fit ones here, eh? People like you.

How the hell did your life end up like this?

Xavier meticulously begins to take apart the droids. (I don't suppose there is anyway to turn the droids into transports?)

He is taking extra care in dealing with it's sensors and radar being used to help it navigate the desert. Also he wants to try and find any files it may have stored on it about the desert, anything else it might carry.

Rand places a hand in front of Con, to stop him from approaching Galder. Eyeing the massacred battle droid, Rand raises his bulbous black eyes towards Galder.

"Con, don't," Rand says. "Give him his space or you'll be cut into tiny pieces. Go work on the other droid for that sensor system. This one is totalled."

Galder swings violently and uncontrolled, again and again and again, screaming every so often with a wail of hopelessness and endless fury. He thinks back along the paths that his life has taken- the death of his parents, his status as a mercenary, his time with Kuylen, the defeat at Zeiton, and now this senseless rabble, all steadily worsening from the beginning and giving no indication of improvement towards the end.

"I HATE THIS PLACE! HATE IT!" Galder yowls. Razor-sharp shards of the rocks he cuts into fly off, burning from contact with his lightsaber, and cut him.
