USH'S STAR WARS GAME- CAMPAIGN II EPISODE IV (DARK SIDE)- Destiny

Ok, let's see what goes on.

Bad guys going first. I hope people heeded my warning; you are all in exposed positions and defensive taps would have been a good idea! We repeat the same EHBD and General attacks as before, as the droids swoop down on those to the east; two each on the gunners and one a piece on Rand and Azarl. Hmm, those swooping fliers make good attack runs with their blasting guns... extra EHBD attacks this turn are on Xavier and Gallador.

Rianna has tapped Perfect Strike, which does her well, and likewise Galder stays very safe with a Balanced Guard tap. Xavier hasn't nominated anyone with his Focussed Guard tap so I shall be kind and say it works on the General. He and others not making defensive taps suffer very heavily in the firestorm. The General himself rolls rather poorly, unable to hit Xavier due to the Guard tap, fended off by Galder's Balanced Guard armour bonus, and misisng Con and Galaldor entirely. He did get past Rianna's PS tap though.

Ok, that's all that, now your turn!

Rand and Azarl continue to Bombard away at Giant Droid A, as Tanic and Relle bring down another droid each.

Gallador steps forwards and hacks down an EHBD with ease- as full on Mooks, you get all your bonuses against those things.

Galder goes for a double but without Forward Guard in just yet he fails by one success, dropping only one. Xavier only gets one as well! And Rianna doesn't have Cleave in yet so she only gets one.

Dak asked to attack two droids before so I shall go ahead with that; he brreaks this run of not-enouugh rolling and kills two of the droids, decapitating both in one blow!

At this point Con does his bonkers solo run on The General. First of all he makes a Dash roll, and as he rolls a bunch of 1s and 2s he acrually does have to use his Lucky Merit to not slice himself open on a rock as he does so! Blurring past Droid E, he takes a shot, socring eight successes (reduced by Parrt to 7) for 12 damage and then comes face to face with the General himself, activating a Flurry for three attacks! Con's sabre pool is currently 21, using a power like Flurry reduces that by 6, which gives Con three seperate attacks at 15 dice each, though the General's defence makes that 12. He socres 6, 7 and four successes, reduced to 5, 6 and 3, for 30 damage total! He's gone manic in there, spinning and slashing and cutting great chunks of metal from The General!

Last of all, the Giant Droids act. A and B are in fact advancing down the field, firing at the four of you out east; they manage to do rather a lot of harm. They also fire their rockets, enough for one hit on each of you; all socre near misses for five damage a piece.

If the Giant Droids were faster, e and F would now focus fire on Con but although they act last, they have to decide what they do before everyone acts, so in fact C to F are splitting fire on everyone to the west; Rianna and Galder are still well covered by defensive taps (though Rianna takes a hit). Con canot be targetted by rockets; a mass of them flies out at the rest of you and socre some hits.

Your move- bad guys have won initiative again, they will act first. That's not good news for Con.

And meanwhile, I have mader some Force rolls! Rand, Tanic, Azarl and Relle all pass and sense danger very close to them, danger that has been unseen.

And Con- you are getting a huge danger sense...

Huge immediate danger?

Would Co-Ordination + Defensive Leap be an appropriate reply for the danger I feel?

Certainly not a bad idea- the Leap especially, which should also be considered as a moving option.

Since I forego an attack with Co-Ordination, can I use the leap to additionally get to some cover?

[edit] Also, I'd just like to point out that I just made 42 points of damage. Beat that, people mhm

Yes you can.

That will be my action then.

Tanic will fire at another flying droid for last turn, then, sensing the danger, looks to use Leaping and Co-Ordination to get up and away.

If he can't use Leapin defensively like that... I'd like to use Swiftness.

I don't think I am the right guy to do it, at the moment, but, potentially, would severring the Generals necklace of freako (human heads), weaken his abilities significantly?

And if so, someone freaking get to it!!!

That is a very entertaining idea...

Would Dash be needed for Rianna to reach the General this turn, or would just running make it?

Not worried about the Agility rolls, between her having it maxed out and having the Lucky merit...

Either way, Rianna will be running at the General, using Coordination to cut down any damage coming at her.

Ush would Xavier be able to use the Strike force power to gain the bonus for both attacks on a Cleave?

Or is it just for one attack period?

Oh, and guys - the Bombard idea is not proving to be very effective. It might be best to abandon it and move in with lightsabers.

Oh - and swap Balanced Guard for Forward Guard at the end of this turn. I'll want it once I reach the General...

Galder charges forwards as well, trying to keep up with Rianna. Since he cannot risk slicing himself upon the rocks, he will run toward the Giant Battle Droid E, hugging it to prevent rocketry use against him once he gets there.

On his way there, Galder activates Coordination, spinning his mechanical wrist around again to deflect incoming blaster fire and crossing his fingers that the rockets miss.

I still think destroying the general is the way to go.

If you don't believe me watch the new Clone Wars cartoon.

Yes...that's what Droids are really like 😐

"Move!" Rand shouts to his comrades, breaking from his mangled cover to advance on the Giant Droids. "There is an unseen threat about to strike!"

Rand will tap Focussed Guard, nominating Giant Droid A, as he advances. Instead of assaulting the Giant Droid with Bombard, he instead directs the shards of lethal rock up at one of the Flier droids that is not attacking him, shredding it.

If a Flier droid attacks him, he will try Reflecting it.

Swap Focussed Guard for Orthodox Guard.

(Can we attack more than one target at once with Bombard?)

Relle- My suggestion to you is to use Dash to move quickly into close combat with the Giant Droids. Also, tap Eye of the Storm so that you can avoid getting hurt this round. Then swap in Block. Shoot down a flier as you move.

Tanic- Move up with us!

Azarl- Use Ward and Bombard one Flier while moving in.

Ush, I don't mean to question you, but have you been accounting for Azarl's Precision?

Azarl moves forwards and uses his lightsaber to defend himself with Ward, while still concentrating his telekinesis on a Flier droid with Bombard. He also moves towards the Giant Droids.

Feeling the burning toll of enemy fire, Gallador desperately focuses his efforts, trying to avoid being hit amidst the chaos and dust.

Gallador will tap Cleave, or Orthodox Guard if he cannot tap Cleave.

Ush, I don't mean to question you

Those kinda statements work better when they are not followed by questioning someone 😛

Actually, Ush, I would like to alter my move so that Tanic advances with the others. Tap Gunslinger as he shoots at two different flying droids.

I'm also fearing some kind of underground attack. If that happens, Tanic would like to Leap away from it.

Switch Gunslinger out for Orthodox Guard.

Well I guess Xavier will strike at two of the EHBDs again. Tapping Perfect Strike this turn.

Swapping out Perfect Strike for Riposte.
