USH'S STAR WARS GAME- CAMPAIGN II EPISODE IV (DARK SIDE)- Destiny

You were the one that said before that the droids will fight much more intelligently while the General is alive! AND the entire point of splitting up the groups was so that we would be able to have a few people take out the general quickly while others handled the mook droids!

And yeah, like someone else feeling danger that she wouldn't have known about would stop Rianna from running into something...pssh...

Still trying to decide what to do.

No, I am being grossly misrepresented; I said the droids had better STRATEGY when the General was alive. So killing him would allow you to leave the Desert as they would not be able to catch you.

Not wanting to metagame here, but you will find the droids act much more intelligently than you might think,. whilst the General is alive.

Is exactly what you said...😛

Yes, as in they won;t walk blindly into your ambush.

It is very odd to take that statement to mean they start running around in cirlces saying "I am useless, I am useless" if you kill him.

Which is not what I took it to mean, but rather that they wouldn't have something coordinating them...

Well, I guess I'll lay there all unconscious-like... ermm

Strategically. As was made very clear in earlier discussions about the General, where it was specified that all the Droids are independsnt. The General just issues them orders- hence his name.

Well, I misunderstood it anyways. Don't think we need to play the blame game, rather lets deal with us being in the shit right now.

I think we in the West can get one giant droid down this turn. (whether that's the general or some other droid needs to be decided). Relle could continue killing mooks. And the other's in the Middle should focus their energys (and lightsabres) on killing a droid as well. What do you guys think?

The. General. Is. A. Dead. End. Fight. Something. Else.

Ush, I'll take that defensive tap loophole, but I need to know where I stand after that.

The general is still a target that can shoot at us and kill us.

And the one with the most damage at the moment.

Okay, which of the giant battle droids is Rianna closest to, and are two of them close enough for her to attack (does Cleave work on them?)?

I have a plan that should keep me alive for this turn, at least. I'll go down hard the one after, but hey, at least I'll be doing a hell of a lot of damage in the process.

With an unknown damage capacity. What are you going to do if it can take 120 points before going down?

I assume we will die in that case.

Either way, though.

But fair enough which droid should we attack then and how many of us?

Rianna is closest to E, and... that question about Cleave makes no sense at all.

I do have a feeling people should go back and read what Cleave does.

I agree and then they should all decide that they want something more useful instead.

I am being harsh. Killing mooks is really useful usually.

But compared to how high a damage threshold

Is it 80 like the others or could it be 100 or 120 or 150(Even as unlikely as that is).

We need to thin the herd as quickly as possible, and right now our best situation in doing so it taking at the Giant Droids because we know we can do it in a few turns time especially if we are tapping and blowing force points into doing as much damage as possible.

Of course thinking back we vets should have definitively gotten past the whole kill the named guy before thinning the mook idea. Especially after playing the OT game where it almost cost us badly in the fight with the Pig King. 😛

He's not 150 big, I'll say that.

And what you need to hit two targets in the way Rianna wants... is Twirl.

Which only one of us has.

Could you explain how it works exactly though? What does it mean to half the attack pool -2 as base pool?

I think it means you take the normal amount of dice you would use then half it and subtract an additional two from it.

By the way now is a perfect time for anybody having Combination, Flurry, Twirl, and Spin to use them to attack and deal massive amounts of damage.
