(Well, besides stalling for Tpt, it was the only way I could think to get away from them for a second. My first guess is Seinar offed Mirani, but I'm not writing him off. I can't think right off-hand, but isn't there something equivalent to the Internet that we could use to find local info. Like Yahoo Peoplesearch?)
Mirani isn't from this planet, Andro. A database search is not likely to show much. Investigation work might find him but it will be time consuming, and you'd need to do the right kind of things; very much drudge work really.
Contacts will be near impossible, really. As for their motives- well, I am sure you want to know all, but I don't see how thgatys possible.
Come on, this job needs to get going else time will pass without you. Go do something!
Perhaps we could go into the city and see what there is to be seen, just to get our bearings and establish somewhere where we could look for Mirani.
Jelena will also introduce herself to Father Karlan and the priests.
"Were you sent from the Abbot?" Jelena asks. "Be sure to give him our thanks for your assistance. We are strangers on this world and you our hosts, after all."
(I have a feeling that Sienar is having them watch us and we get to play diplomatic relations with them. I would suggest ditching them but it could be seen in a bad light. Best to tolerate them for now.)
"That is all I saw of her," Gallagher says, but then thinks about how she was portrayed in his vision, how she could kill with a word. "...but perhaps I have seen her before... in a vision on Spiridos. I heard a woman's voice speak, and a man turned his weapon on himself, and he died..."
Do those voices match, Ush?
